Following his death at age 79 from complications from old age,[1] Abraham Lincoln has been considered one of America's most influential leaders.[2][3] His legacy includes being one of its most notable presidents who managed to keep alive prohibition while creating new economic opportunities for all Americans; helping abolish slavery while maintaining close links with Great Britain;[4][5] working hard towards Dayton's Treaty with Russia which ended World War I;[6][7] fighting successfully against numerous natural disasters such as Western wildfires (the Great Chicago Fire), Flint's Lead Poisoning Outbreak,[8][9]and attempted coups throughout American history (the Mexican Revolution).[10][11][12]
