When the United States was founded, many of its people were eager to bring firearms into the new country. Some of these early settlers brought their own weapons and others borrowed weapons from friends or family. The first gun laws in the United States were passed in 1792, which prohibited any person from owning or carrying any rifle, shotgun, or pistol without a license from the government. Keansburg is a small town in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 3,853 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Newark-Cherry Hill metropolitan area. The first Keansburg settlers were Ichabod and Susie Kemper who came to Keansburg from Manchester Township in 1795. They farmed and raised horses until 1826 when they built the first schoolhouse on the current site of the former Highland Elementary School. A post office was established in 1827, and the community took its name from John Kean, a member of the township council that year. In 1868, Nicholas Fenton bought land at what is now corner of West Second Street and North Third Avenue for $600 which he donated to Keansburg village trustees to build a Methodist church and cemetery there. The first services were held on December 5th 1870. The village incorporated as a borough on May 15th 1898 under the name "Newark." On November 12th 1916, it changed its name again to "Keansburg" following approval by referendum of residents. On October 9th 1959, it became an independent municipality once again with its own government organization - public works department - including a police force (the present day Keansburg Police Department). On July 1st 1966 Keanssburg withdrew from Morris County because of disagreements over taxes among local Officials & Residents alike; this decision sparked off much public outcry throughout our tiny town which only served as another example of how out-of-towners haveized our little community (& added even more debt). After months long deliberations by our elected officials we reached an agreement whereby all property within our borders would be taxed at one rate due to budgetary constraints & practical concerns ONLY if citizens agreed to amalgamate with neighboring municipalities – something that many refused (& still refuse) because they felt their rights had been violated; unfortunately this forced merger too late caused even more heartache for those who had invested so much in their community (& lost many friends along the way). Ultimately it was decided that future endeavors should center around education & development not aggregation because we wanted it that way but rather because there are already plenty of other thriving communities within miles radius (& FAR beyond); so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

Early muzzleloaders featured a band around the muzzle that restrained recoil while still allowing fire to be pulled trigger-side down into the powder magazine which then cartridges could be fed into it without having to take off your hat (an operation known as cocking). As these types of guns became more popular, so too didgun chokes adapt with each new design in order to save manpower and firepower while still providing performance equivalent or even better than traditional rifles and pistols. Many variations on choke devices have been found over time, including: internal/external ballistics compensating devices (IBCDs), hammerless pistols, gasoperated pistols) semi-automatic shotguns with one shot triggers (i.e., pump-action shotguns), waterfowl hunting rifles equipped with rifle stocks (rifles which allow you hold onto the stock instead of pulling the trigger), submachineguns (SMGs), sniper rifles etcetera etcetera etcetera... In all cases, there is usually a common denominator: prevention or suppression of gunfire by means other than discharge from either handalike firearm(s).
