The company made target holders for use at shooting clubs and schools throughout the United States. In 1951, the company was merged with National Sporting Goods Company to form National Sporting Goods Corporation.
Harrison, New Jersey is a town in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 10,746 at the 2010 census. Harrison is located on the Delaware River and is also the county seat of Ocean County. The community was named for George Washington Harrison, Jr., who died in 1817 in Ohio. Before European settlement of what is now Ocean County, there were several villages and hamlets within present-day Harrison Township: Allendale (now an unincorporated community), Bartholomewville (now part of Delmarva), Beechwood (now an unincorporated community), Berrystown (now an unincorporated community), Bolton Landing (now a ghost town), Branchport Landing (now an unincorporated community), Chester Park (now a ghost town) and Clearbrookville (part of today's Elizabethtown). In 1795, surveyors laid out a land grant known as "The Manor" to George Washington Harrison Sr. It included present-day Harrison Township and portions of West Sussex Township across the river from it. In 1802, while serving as U.S. Minister to Great Britain under President James K. Polk, Mr. Harrison married Emma Morrill; they had two sons: George Washington Jr., who became Ulysses S. Grant Woodruff II and Mary Anna Woodsley de Rothschild before she died in 1886 and he married Alice Bogan Griggs in 1912; they had three children: Franklin D Roosevelt Sr., Eleanor Roosevelt Polakowski Lubin and John F Kennedy Smith III before her death in 1962; his grandson John F Kennedy Smith IV became president of the United States on November 4th 2008 According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough had a total area of , including all land east of Clinton Street along Delaware River until Newark Bayou reaches its mouth; all land west of Clinton Street along Delaware River except for Borough limits was included within Elizabethtown Township until that township was dissolved by act of Congress on April 15th 1865 following the American Civil War This makes it one-third smaller than that size as designated by law but includes much more waterfront real estate dating back to Dutch colonial times As part-ofancestry with other towns annexed intoElizabethtown during 1865 restructuring process many buildings still standing from pre-1865 days are found throughout borough boundaries

Today, Harrison is a small, tightlyknit community of about 1,000 people located in southeastern New Jersey. The town's rich history can be found from its founding to the present day. The town was named for Captain George Harrison, who fought in the American Revolution and later became an owner of land in the area. In 1724, Captain George and his wife Esther moved from London toNJ and began farming around what is now Harrison. They built a log cabin and naming it "Harrison" after their home countryman. The first store opened in 1740 at what is now Main Street corner with Court Street. By 1800, there were 10 stores in Harrison with a payroll of $2 per week! In 1814, President James Ketchum granted three tracts of land to Colonel Johnstone for $10 each including part of present-day Harrison Township! This donation helped start what would become one of NJ's largest farms - Jorgensen Farms – which has since been expanded multiple times by other farmers. When America declared war on France in 1917 (WWI), many soldiers living near Trenton enlisted to help fight on the front line – some even making it all the way to Europe! One such soldier was Private First Class Henry Sweeny from Harrison who served until he was honorably discharged in 1919 at age 24 years old! After WWI ended, many veterans returned home and started businesses such as Weyerhaeuser Company that continues today as one of NJ's leading companies. In 1922, when William Hughes purchased 6 acres adjoining Jorgensen Farms from Colonel Johnstone for $5 per acre – making him one of Jackson County’s earliest landowners – he decided to change the name of his farmstead into Harrison Township due to its proximity to both Philadelphia (then known as Easton) PA and Trenton NJ shorelines which made it convenient for shipping goods between these two cities/counties! It wasn't until 1953 that full township status was bestowed upon us by our government officials thanks largely to then-Mayor Arthur Carlson who chaired township meetings at which action was taken allowing us 9 square miles (!) area within our borders with 5 villages within walking distance: Farmingdale; Hackensack; Red Bank Junction; Mayport; Neptune Beach; Atlantic City Today’s population stands at 1,000 people according largelyto annexation efforts over time by neighboring municipalities: Brick Township (2000), Kearny Mesa (2002), Sea Bright(2003), Plaquemines Park Estates(2006) and finally Paramus(2007). While much has changed over time throughout this rapidly growing community we have remainedtruely rootedin our traditions dating back more than 200 years…
