Johnnie was born in 1881 inHackensack and died in 1958. He was an avid hunter who loved to shoot guns. In 1936, Johnnie bought a rifle at auction and started shooting competitively. His success led him to purchase his first shotgun in 1939. The following year he purchased his second shotgun and began hunting handguns as well. In 1951 Johnnie married Darlene Doddridge and they continued to hunt handguns together until her death in 1984. They also owned several rifles including an old .22 caliber revolver that still hangs on the wall today! Johnnie's rifle barrel collection totals more than 20 firearms!
