GUNGrip history in Glen Rock, New Jersey began with the founding of the Glenrock Rifle and Pistol Club on March 5, 1899. The purpose of this club was to provide a place for shooters to come together and shoot shotguns. The first members were all men and the club used field guns. In 1903, the club changed its name to the GlenRock Rifle and Pistol Association (GRPA). In 1916, GRPA adopted a Constitution that stated that all members must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid license from a local government agency. On July 1, 1917, GRPA changed its name to the National Rifle Association (NRA) after passage of an act by Congress which authorized NRA membership statewide. From its early days as an educational organization until today, NRA has been dedicated to teaching people about Second Amendment rights! NRA holds annual meetings throughout Pennsylvania counties in order to share information about rifle ammo availability; how to buy or upgrade firearms; safety tips for children; law enforcement shooting incidents; gun shows and events around the country; as well as numerous other topics related to firearms freedom! NRA also sponsors many Gun safety awareness programs across Pennsylvania counties through their partner organizations such as Safe Kids USA

In 1916, an armory was built on State Street in Glen Rock and it served as the home of the New Jersey National Guard from 1916 to 1967.
Glen Rock is a town in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 15,612 at the 2010 census. The name of the town is derived from an early Presbyterian preacher who preached there and his followers named it after god's rock or "Rock of Ages." In 1856, a group of Baptists moved to Glen Rock from Plainfield and began to call themselves the "Rock Baptists". The first school in Glen Rock was built in 1795 by Rev. John McGowan. In 1806, Rev. James Houser established a school here which served as the primary educational institution for settlers in what would become Hunterdon County. A second school was built on this site in 1835 by Amos Kendall, who served as its first superintendent. A third school opened here in 1870 by Phebe Wills, serving as both an all-girls' high school and county seat for Hunterdon County until moving to Middletown Township in 1905. In 1900, voters approved incorporation as a borough by referendum; however, this did not happen because Borough President Burton Fenton opposed annexation into Passaic Township due to concerns about possible competition from that township's much larger population (the measure failed 3-1). The new borough was formed on February 1, 1903 when portions of West Orange and East Brunswick were annexed into Glen Rock along with other townships within Hunterdon County due to growth rates during those years attributable more largely to Interstate 95 than anything else. On October 24th of that year – one day after Hurricane Floyd made landfall – Judge Clifford Cramer granted Special Master status under the National Emergencies Act so that emergency services could be provided immediately to any municipality within 30 miles of New York City which had declared itself unable or unwilling to provide such services because of its economic conditions caused by Floyd – including Glen Rock! Glen Rock has experienced various changes throughout its history: multiple waves of immigration - numerous Poles arriving beginning around 1800; German Americans followed starting around 1910 through World War I; Italians arriving post-war many times until1965; Lebanese refugees coming soon afterwards also contributing greatly (at least some) towards population growth through the late 1960s/early 1970s; postwar suburbanization with increasing numbers of people commuting away since 1950s etc.; finally most recent wave resulting today from increased birthrates among residents born outside NJ over past few decades combined with continuing migration from surrounding states etc.). Many businesses have been founded or continue operation here (high tech startups being especially notable)CWG Landscaping has been located here since 1978 while Citizens Bank & Trust operated continuously HERE until their merger with JB Financial Corporation several years ago now (JB is still active locally).

Glen Rock is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 5,895 at the 2010 census. The name of the community comes from the rock formation called Glen Rock (Gleann Roc), which is located on the border of the borough and Parsippany Township. The first settlers to what is now Glen Rock arrived in 1824 and were farmers named John Cline and Isaac Gottlieb. In 1827, David Livingston built a gristmill on Rahway Creek in what is now Glen Rock Borough. In 1849, vegetables were grown for sale by William Fenton in what is now Easton Village in Morris Township. Fenton's business grew into a large produce company that became known as Girdwood Farms. In 1865, Abraham Lincoln made his inaugural speech from Wyncote Farm near present-day Glen Rock Borough when he was President of the United States. It was here that he offered his opinion on slavery before leaving for Washington D.C.. In 1886, Annie Moore opened her first grocery store in what is today West Babylon Borough and it remains one of its most popular businesses to this day. The opening of the Erie Railroad led to a boom in transportation and commerce within Morris County; this also led to development around town including brickyards, breweries and other businesses not associated with agriculture or transportation until later decades such as software development companies headquartered in Paramus or Allendale Township outside of Morristown today). GlenRock had its own school system starting with grades K-12 but merged with Morristown Schools District #1 following statehood in 1957 According to the 2000 US Census there were 4,622 people living inside the borders of Morris County while 5,895 lived outside them: 3% black or African American residents; 19% Hispanic; 76% white residents (non-Hispanic whites are more likely than non-Hispanic blacks to live insideMorris Countyshores); 2% Asians; 0% Native Americans
Glen Rock was founded in 1788 by Nicholas Bicknell. The town is located on the Susquehanna River, about 16 miles north of Philadelphia. It became a borough in 1854 and a city in 1907.
