The company continued to produce rounds until 1959 when it merged with Winchester Repeating Arms Company. Ammunition production in Glassboro continued until the early 1990s when all operations were transferred to nearby Camden County, NJ. At that time, Glassboro became one of the few towns in New Jersey still producing ammunition.

On January 1, 1938, all municipalities within Hunterdon County were dissolved and replaced by newburn Township which included bothGlassboro Borough as well as portions of Hackensack and Passaic Counties east of the river. As part of the 2001 Census update conducted by USA Today/Merrill Lynch Research Inc., Glassboros reached its peak population size with 37% reporting their household income over $75k while only 11% reported less than $25k annually (the median household income for all US counties). At that point in time there were also about 24 businesses employing over 150 people employed directly or through contract labor; most notably: two large pharmaceutical companies (Boehringer Ingelheim and Pfizer), one manufacturing company (Walgreens) as well as numerous small businesses including several restaurants and light retail stores catering to a diverse array of customers from throughout Hunterdon County - many residents enjoying quality life amenities unheard in earlier concentrations around Trenton or Princeton Junction due to more recent development around those cities while still being able to enjoy access to public transportation available right outside their doors - making this one if not THE most vibrant community in eastern New Jersey!
