During World War II, Florham Park played a significant role as an aircraft manufacturing center for the United States military with facilities located on Roosevelt Road and Eisenhower Avenue. After the war ended, many factories closed down or moved out as technology changed andrewsons declined to comply with Air Quality Act regulations that required increased emission control measures during wartime production output
