Rockefeller quickly built a large estate on what is now Sunrise Drive in Florham Park and madeSurety Corporation his primary business activity there from 1902-1915. Rockefeller died in 1937 and his widow donated most of her assets to the University for research into serum chemistry and cancer treatment by Drs William Shockley and James Watson. The university has continued this work today withDr Sunil Kashyap serving as director since 2006). It was during World War II that Florham Park achieved national attention due to its substantial amount of wartime production by Ford Motor Company (who had their plant adjacent to Sunrise Drive). Ford also produced munitions here at one point before moving their manufacturing operations overseas because of the war effort; however, much of this production still takes place today at their Willowbrook Assembly Plant near Dearborn Heights, Michigan where they produce both automobiles and engines used in many models across North America including those manufactured by Mazda..

This project cost $75 million to build; however it only increased economic development inFlorHAM PARK while causing few environmental impacts due to its use of pre-cast concrete panels instead of traditional brickwork construction techniques
