As the world's largest telescope manufacturer, SBIR (Society for Biomedical Research) has a significant impact on scopes history in Englewood, New Jersey. The company was founded in 1948 by Otis S. Raymond and David C. Cowan as the Scopes Optical Co., Ltd. In 1964, they merged with the Volcanic Glass Company to form SBIR-Volcanic Glass Corporation, which remained active until 1984 when it merged with Swenzer Optics Corporation to become Swenzer Incorporated. SBIR is responsible for creating and marketing many of today's most popular scopes including the Celestron EQ4 manual focus scope, Celestron CG4 digital scope, and Orion ETX4i EDO telescope tube mount system. The company has also produced a wide variety of astronomical accessories such as eyepieces and mounts for telescopes both large and small. The company has made significant contributions to scoping history through its donations of equipment and technology to various scientific organizations around the world. For example, Swenzer donated an array of advanced optics capable of resolving objects up to 100x at low magnification to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt Maryland in 1978 in order to improve space science researchERA/UVIS imagery analysis tools used by astronauts during their unsafe visits inside Earth's atmosphere). Additionally, Swenzer donated funds towards development of image processing algorithms used by astronomers worldwide at the time including HARPS/EPIC data reduction techniques employed on Kitt Peak National Observatory High Resolution Imaging Survey images (KPNOS), VLT Virtual Telescope observations using adaptive optics methods over near-infrared spectral bands (CNES Very Long Baseline Spectroscopy observations), and MaflamScope observing campaign utilizing multiple short-wavelength adaptive optics sources at three sites around Chile (Chile Skies Scientific Experiment Station - La Plata; Nasca Hills; Antofagasta). In addition to its contributions towards astronomy, SBIR also gives back through donations of equipment or technology that can be used for medical research purposes such as OCT scans for breast cancer detection or nuclear reactor monitoring. In 1990s alone, SBIR donated an OCT scanner known as "Scrooge"to help physicians detect pancreatic cancer early enough so that treatment could be available before patients develop into full-blown tumors. Furthermore, they have also gifted a number of instruments specifically designed for medical research such as MRI scanners and spectroscopy probes that can be inserted into human blood vessels allowing doctors to study how chemicals are absorbed within human cells without having harm come unto patients' actual body parts).

Spotting scopes offer a variety of benefits for shooters, including improved accuracy and understanding of target movements. The most common type of spotting scope is the reflex or objective lens spotting scope. A reflex type spotting scope has an oblique viewing angle that makes it easier to spot targets close up. Reflex scopes also have a higher magnification than standard Schmidt-Cassegrain scopes, making them perfect for shooting at large objects such as deer or shotguns from a distance. Many Shotgun enthusiasts also use reflex scopes to shoot game at long range; these scopes are known as “long range” scopes because they can focus down to around 100 yards.

The history of scopes in Englewood, New Jersey goes back to the early 1800s. In 1827, a group of men from Englewood began working on a new telescope that would become known as the "Englewood Mirror." The mirror was made from a piece of wood that had been cut into small squares and then glued together. The telescope was used to look at stars and planets. In 1875, the first scopes in Englewood were built by local farmers. They used mirrors made out of lead or copper to look at objects up close. By 1907, scopes were being built by both local people and companies outside of Englewood. By 1914, there were more than 20 scopes in Englewood.

Englewood is a borough in New Jersey, United States. The population was 30,746 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Trenton-Ewing, NJ Metropolitan Statistical Area. The borough was formed on November 3, 1911 from parts of Englewood Township and Union Township. On March 10, 1955, it was merged into Trenton through a merger of two townships - Englewood and Runnemede - as part of the public works program of Governor John F. Kennedy. Residents in both townships voted to merge on October 9th by a margin of 54% to 46%. In 2009-10, Englewood earned an A+ rating from the National League for Community Empowerment (NLCE) for its commitment to community engagement and inclusion. NLCE is one of five organizations that comprise the League's "Community Voices" program which has endorsed over 100 projects across America since its inception in 2006. According to the 2016 Census Bureau report "New Jersey Demographics", Englewood had a total population density of . According to the report "Migration and Immigration", there were 1,611 foreign born residents (37%) inEnglewood during calendar year 2016 who were naturalized citizens or permanent residents (based on their place of birth). The vast majority (86%) were from Europe; any other countries represented 2%, while Asia accounted for 0.1%. Of native-born residents 25 years or older: 24% reported English as their primary language spoken at home; this number drops slightly when broken down by education level ($20/day vs $30/day), but remains high overall ($68/year vs $38/year).

Scopes were designed for the observation of celestial objects. The first telescopes were built in the late 17th century, and they were able to image things that were a few miles away. By the early 19th century, scopes had gotten much better at resolving details, and they could see things up to 600 miles away. In 1851, Congress passed the Astronomical Act, which made it illegal to use telescopes without a license from an observatory. This law did not always keep people from building new scopes, but it made it very difficult for people to make observations that would help science learn more about the universe.

The first scopes were made in the 15th century. They were simple devices that used a lens and a telescope to view objects at a great distance. The first telescopes were used by astronomers to see things like stars and galaxies.

Englewood is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 12,752 at the 2010 census. Englewood was created on November 3, 1911 from portions of Woodstown and Garfield Heights. It is part of the Newark–Jersey City metropolitan area. The first Englewood residents were Dutch settlers who had immigrated to what is now Bergen County in 1683. They soon moved out because of harsh weather conditions and increased Native American activity nearby. In 1815, Englewood was founded as a township by order of General George Washington during the Morrill Land Grant process. On July 1, 1824 it became an incorporated borough when all but two wards were annexed by Newton Township (Bergen County). On May 15, 1951 the Borough Council decided that it would merge with neighboring Woodstown to form a new municipality which would have its own police department and fire department. The merger did not go through due to opposition from some residents within Englewood who felt their community retained its independence too well. Instead on November 3, 1911, the borough's charter was amended to make it an unincorporated community with same governance as Newton Township despite objections from many of its citizens including Mayor John Prentice and Councilman Harry Sheehan Sr.. In 1933-1934 both municipalities merged into one - which remains Englewood today - due to lack of interest or choice among them among various amalgamation proposals over the years; this has been especially true since 1984 when all three municipalities voted separately to become part of Manalapan Beach Borough (Newark-jersey city). The name "Englewood" comes from English gentleman John Engelhard who settled in 1702 in what is now Englewood Township near Perth Amboy after being granted 5 acres (2 hectares) by Governor James Wright de Dirckt east of Hackensack River for services rendered as a justice of peace and surveyor general for New Netherland during King George II's war with France. When he died in 1708 his estate passed down through his son Johannengelhard until it came into ownership by Sir George Carteret who sold it back to Johannengelhard's heirs in 1754; this finally gave rise to Sir John's trust land grant rancho de la Feza located just east offRoute 23 between Hackensack River & Rahway Lake & bounded thereon by: 4 rods wide at least ½ way along each side & measured 2 rods above high water mark on each bank— thenceforth called "Engleood." From 1683 until 1861 all verge lots were surveyed only using 200 feet width lines drawn parallel thereto.— One may travel along Route 23 East from Rahway Lake crossing Hackensack River about 7/8 mile below original grants lands then going NorthEast another ¼ mile & turning SouthWest thence following old State Road 22 for about 8 miles till reaching current Route 23 So named because: Samuel Hahn purchased land hereabouts ceding it back again following purchase in 1729 (& Map dated Nov 10th 1755) Acknowledgement given me by His Excellency Samuell Wexler Esq., Governor Oct 30th 1800 thru Dec 6th 1800 Thanks be unto God!

On December 12, 1795, Englewood was taken over by the United States as part of the Treaty of Paris following the American Revolutionary War. The town was named in honor of Major General George Washington.
