In 1952, Everett Fenton moved to California where he started another gun manufacturing business called American Arms Corp.. American Arms Corporation producedHolsters for both law enforcement officers and civilians as well as pistols grip cleaners etc.. The business ended in 1978 when it was bought by Remington Firearms Inc..Remington Firearms Inc., along with other firearms manufacturers such as Savage Arms & Ammunition (USA), Colt Manufacturing Co., Smith & Wesson USA, Sturm Ruger & Co., H&K Umarex AG (Germany), Beckels GmbH became part of Zink Manufacturing GmbH which is now known as Borchardt Vergaser und Komponente GmbH (BVK).

Englewood, New Jersey is a city in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 41,574 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Newark–Union City–Jersey City Metropolitan Statistical Area. Englewood was founded in 1868 by John Engle and his family. In 1901, it became Englewood Township. On January 1, 2017, it was merged into the new municipality of Union City. The first Europeans to visit what is now Englewood were Dutch settlers who arrived in 1614 and named it "Houtenburgh". The English explorer James Cook sailed past this area on his second voyage around Cape Horn in 1778 and named it after Colonel John Engle of Hesse-Kassel (present-day Kassel), who had been sent by Governor Richard Stockton to explore the region as part of a military expedition against French forces that had invaded England. Colonel John's son George brought over four hundred acres (twenty hectares) of land here from Germany in 1784 and began to build a house which he called "Johnstown". He also built a mill which continued operation until 1838 when it closed due to waterlogging; however, the site is still used for today's community center. In 1868, John Engle bought some additional land from George Engler here and started extensive farming operations; he also erected a schoolhouse and other buildings on his property. In 1901, following John Atherton's death, his wife Anna purchased additional land from him totaling ; she also started extensive farming operations here with her husband's help until her death in 1951. At their deaths respectively the estates included . Englewood was founded by Germans in 1777 and developed as a small town on the east side of Newark Bay. In 1812, it became a township and in 1832 became an incorporated village. On July 1, 1926, it became a borough and remains so today. The first Englewood post office was established on March 12, 1777, with Edward Aspinwall as its first clerk. The name of the town changed to Englewood after Captain John Engleton negotiated with the Dutch for passage to America from Rotterdam on his ship "Eagle". The first settler in what is now Englewood Township was Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz who arrived there in 1778. He built a house on what is now Main Street which still stands today. In 1812, when Newark Bay filled up with silt caused by heavy rains during Hurricane Andrew (a tempest that year), residents of nearby Rahway voted to become an independent township under English rule instead of remaining within Newark Township due to political differences between Mayor Nicholas Palladino and Township Administrator Michael Tingley over land reclamation issues surrounding Rahway Lake (later known as Hackensack Lake). In 1838-39 villagers erected two wooden polls around their respective lots near where present-day Morristown Road intersects Garfield Boulevard for voting purposes only; these polls were destroyed by vandals just prior to Census Day in 1840 because they were not subject to Town Formality laws which required all elections be held using openpolls rather than secret ballots thereby making them vulnerable to fraud or coercion by those seeking political influence or status quo changes within their wards/villages/townships etc... until such time as open polls were made available through legislation administered by then Borough President John Siskel pursuant to Executive Order No: 9609 dated February 5th 1938... At that time Borough Hall had been moved from its original location behind First Presbyterian Church towards what is now Girard Avenue following the acquisition of adjacent property from Samuel Greenlee whose heirs had leasedhold interest therein from former member James Kappenheimer prior thereto.. civic organizations such as Odd Fellows Fraternal Society #1 (1822) & #2 (1827), Methodist Episcopal Zion Church (1831), & Reformed Baptist Church (1834) sprang up soon thereafter including one subscription box for milk sent out daily via horse drawn wagon throughout township followed immediately thereafter by retail grocery stores operated initially by Lowery Bros., Payson’s Hardware Store (& later Stillman’s hardware store) across Garfield Boulevard frompresent day Morristown Road Deptford Park Schoolhouse before eventually being taken over & merged into present day Walmart Supercenter across Morris Avenue from Ring High School subsequent annexation efforts resulting in current boundaries including both sides of Garvey Avenue between Bloomfield Avenue & Morris Street while also incorporating adjacent properties situated northwardly along Bloomfield Avenue including portions of Park Heights Cemetery located just south thereof... By 1850 however most residents hadigrated away leaving few if any descendants remaining except those living withinEngleWOOD borders who continuedAnglican services at Second Presbyterian Church located opposite municipal limits continuing until 1870 when that church burned down spectacularly ensuing communitywide outcry againstbuilder George Gifford's response - initially offering free rebuilding - later charging $100 per structure consumed thereby resultingin building programcostofover $600K ultimately achieving successful outcome resultantinincludingcomplete reconfigurationofTownship map&all vacant Lots Converted immediately into single family homes becoming one continuous area Residential zoning began effective January 1st 1971 although some members continue To reside inside Town Limits thruout their lifetime The population reached 10,543 according to the 2010 American Community Survey conducted by Rutgers University During World War II many people worked at Roosevelt Field Ammunition Plant producing munitions for both Allied and Axis forces After the war many people left Englewood due A variety of reasons but some remain today like Esther Weinreb who started her own needlework business called Weinfurter Straussengel among others
