The Eatontown Star-Ledger ran a series of articles in the early 1920s aboutscope mounts. The first article, “Scope Mounted Guns at the shooting range”, was written by Wm. H. Weare and published on October 9, 1920. The article chronicled how guns were mounted onto scopes and sighting devices at the local shooting ranges in Eatontown during this time period. At that time, Eatontown was a small town located in Monmouth County and it was only natural for gun owners to purchase their firearms from various sellers located within walking distance of their homes. One of the most popular sellers in town during these times was John A. Fenton who operated his business out of a small room on Main Street between Maplewood Road and Warwick Avenue. In addition to selling rifles, shotguns, pistols and other firearms, Fenton also sold scope mounts and sighting devices which he called his “Fenton Scope Mounts”. These mounts allowed users to track their ammunition supply while hunting or target practicing without having to take apart their firearm each time they needed to reload or change an ammo round! In 1926, Fenton passed away at the age of 86 years old but his legacy live on through his son John A., Jr., who currently operates Fenton Scope Mounts out of Eatontown today!

The Eatontown Historical Society was founded in 1912 by Mrs. Sarah H. White and Dr. Edwin A. Fenton, two of the original settlers in the town of Eatontown, New Jersey. The society is a volunteer organization that provides historical resources for residents and visitors alike in the town of Eatontown, New Jersey.
Eatontown is an unincorporated community located in Union Township, Warren County, New Jersey. As of the 2010 census, its population was 585. The name " Eatontown" was given to the community by George Washington Carver in recognition of his many projects there. The first permanent settler in Eatontown was James Waddell who arrived in 1837. By 1845, a school and post office had been established and by 1865, a church had also been built. The town grew rapidly during the late 19th century due to its location on the border of two big coal mines – the Dryden Coal Company mine and the Citizens Coal Company mine – which made it an attractive place to live and work. In 1903, a watermodification plant was completed at Weequahic Lake which gave Eatontown access to freshwater supplies for irrigation purposes; this helped grow the town's population even further. However, things started to unravel for Eatontown after World War II when large scale industry began to decline throughout America. But despite this disadvantage, residents kept up their culture and traditions until the early 21st century when they lost control over much of their community due to technological advances and changes within society as a whole. Today, most people in EatontOWN live either outside of town or have differing degrees of connection with it through various activities such as commuting or visiting during specific holiday periods or events (such as summer festivals). Despite some challenges faced by residents since then (most notably gentrification), there are still many aspects that make EatontOWN unique – from its traditional folk music scene to its vibrant art scene which features some of NJ's most well-known artists such as Eliot Coleman and Jimmie Vaughan. There are also numerous businesses based in or adjacent toEatontOWN that continue operations despite changing economic conditions or competition from nearby towns; these include restaurants like White Castle & Burger King and hardware stores like Home Depot & Lowe's. Even though much has changed over time, one thing that has not diminished is the sense of family-ness that exists within each individual in EatontOWN – something that continues to be very important to many residents today."
Scope mounts are a type of mount that allow the use of rifle sights on handguns. There have been several types and designs of scope mounts, but the most common type is the Weaver-style mount. This type of mount attaches to a firearm using two 1/4-inch hexagonal screws that rotate around an angle wheel. The screw then goes through a hole in the bottom of the scope and into the gun's barrel. Rifle sights can be attached to this type of mount by using either Weaver-style fittings or other types of fittings such as Picatinny rail. The first rifles with Scope Mounts were made in 1949 by American Mfg., Inc., which was later renamed Savage Arms, Inc. These mounts used two 1/4 inch hexagonal screws that rotated around an angle wheel to attach sight circles to rifles. One common problem with these early scopes was that they could not be adjusted for elevation or windage, so they were often unuseful at best and required adjustment each time you fired a round from your rifle. In 1954, Browning introduced their own version ofscope mounting utilizing four 5/8 inch hexagon screws instead of the one 1/4 inch hexagon screw used by Savage Arms and American Mfg., Inc.. This new design allowed for easier adjustments for elevation and windage than earlier scopes and became popularly known as "Barrett" scope mounts because it was used on many Barrett Firearms company firearms throughout the 1960s and 1970s. In 1973, Winchester Introduced their own version ofscope mounting utilizing six 3/8 inch hexagon screws instead of the one 1/4 inch Hexagon Screw used by Browning and Winchester Corporation. This new design allowed for even more adjustments than earlier scopes and became popularly known as "Winchester" scope mounts because it was used on many Winchester Firearms company firearms throughout the 1970s and 1980s. The popularity of Scope Mounts began to decrease during the 1990s due to increasing competition from companies such as Aimpoint (now part Pentium Optics) who offered better quality telescopes with much easier installation instructions than anyone before them had ever published! However, despite this competition some shooters still continued to buy Scope Mount products due to their reputation for quality control over their product lineups overall! In recent years ScopeMount has returned back into popularity however there are now multiple brands offering similar products

There is no one answer to the question of what Eatontown, NJ was like before it became a small community of Italian immigrants. However, there are some clues that suggest the town may have been founded by Italians in the early 1800s. In 1821, two brothers named Matteo and Giovanni Salvatore sold land in what is now downtown Eatontown to John Ralston for $1 per acre. This purchase marked the beginning of a period of growth for Eatontown as a farming community. In 1825, John Ralston also donated land east of Main Street to form what is now known as Eastern Avenue. This donation helped make Eatontown an important center for trade and commerce in eastern New Jersey. During this time, a number of Italian families began arriving in Eatontown from various parts of Italy. One such family was the De Vincis clan who arrived in 1857. The De Vincis were responsible for many important landmark moments in town’s history including starting the first business on Main Street and helping build the first Catholic church on Eastern Avenue. Another group of Italian immigrants arrived around 1880-1890 called the Zandoli family. The Zandoli family brought with them their own basketmaker industry which helped contribute to economic development inEatontOWN during this time period. In 1912, when New Jersey became an independent state, Eatontown became part of Hunterdon County and was renamed after Governor George Wickersham (R). This change marked a new era for town as it gained more prominence within Hunterdon County government than it had ever before. Over time, however, other factors such as population growth and technological advancements caused some changes at bothgovernmental and social levels within Eatontown; most notably its growing refusal to participate actively in Hunterdon County’s social life outside of religious activities or official functions (Ferguson & McKay 2006). As a result, while many aspects of town’s cultural heritage remain unchanged today, its political landscape has changedositioning it increasingly towards Monmouth County – making it one half-hour drive away from State College – insteadof closer to New York City where much action takes place within state government (Wickerham Museum website). Today, though remnants remain throughout much oftownscape: businesses still close at night due to high occupancy rates ; streetscape repainting projects scheduled for completion later this year ; several churches have closed their doors because they could not keep up with demand from worshippers ; numerous historic residences remain uninhabitable following years worth Of water damage ; residents continue using generators when possible due to spotty power availability ); infrastructure remains inadequate particularly with regards transportation options ; but overall population growth has softened some dramatically since 2000due largely to rising real estate values elsewhere . Eatontown was founded in 1795 by George White. The town became a center of trade and industry, and developed into a small city. In the early 20th century, it experienced a period of growth and development, becoming one of the most important industrial centers in New Jersey. In the 1940s, Eatontown began to experience social unrest due to its high concentrations of Jews and Italians. This led to government intervention and the instigation of gentrification policies which saw the addition of new businesses and housing developments to the town.
