Dover, New Jersey (population: 16,729) is a town in Kent County, New Jersey, United States. It was founded on October 27, 1764 by Loyalists from Pennsylvania. The original name of the town was "Bridgewater". Dover became an incorporated town on December 15, 1876. Dover is home to the Dover Amusement Park and the Dover Mall. The first Europeans to visit what is now Dover were Dutch sailors who sighted it on their way around Cape May Bay on July 10, 1614. They named it "Hague" after the Hague River in Holland. A grant of land in what is now Dover Township was given to a group of Quakers by Jameson and John Armstrong during King George's War (1701-1704). The grant included land for a gristmill and for ferrying goods between Newark and Trenton. In 1764 three men from Pennsylvania traveled down the Delaware River as part of an effort to purchase land east of Philadelphia which would form the nucleus of what would become Delaware County when it was formed in 1781. They reached what is now known as West Hackensack before turning back due to bad weather at mile marker 9 near present-day Bridgeport Junction where they met other travelers also looking for land east of Philadelphia not yet claimed by Pennsylvanian settlers. On October 27 they founded Bridgewater with selectmen chosen from among themselves to manage affairs until such time that more permanent residents could be recruited or purchased; this initial township contained only 12 families (the population today being 16,729). The first bridge over Passaic Creek within modern day Sussex County was built here by Colonel Andrew Dunbar between 1769 and 1771; this crossing facilitated transportation between Bridgewater Township and East Brunswick Township north of Passaic Creek which then connected with Swedes living incallback along with English farmers south of creek bank across open fields newly plowed under following Indian Wars Campaigns waged by British Army Major General Sir William Howe against Native Americans livingeastofCapeMayBay area – including those living near present day Delaware/Newark Counties line – resulting in vast amounts (~4000 total dead & 5000+ captives taken) during two centuries governing one million people! Colonel Dunbar’s bridge still stands just east ofpresent day Bridgeport Junction! In 1836 Bridgwater Borough became part of Ridgefield Township when that township split off from Ridgefield Township based upon increasing population densities caused by steamboat traffic passing through its narrow entrance harborcombining forces with local farmers trying unsuccessfully to keep up with delivery times generated by rapidly expanding iron ore mining industry discovered here adjacent Sandusky River Valley floor 3 miles below river “Gold Rush” era townships like Newark, Elizabethtown & Billingsgate Landing tidal waves reaching heights topping 100 feet early morning & afternoon days resulted creating large areas several football fields deep water levelsayawning past high tide frequently hitting shoreline 1 ½ hours prior full moon night resulting devastating flooding weeks/months prior historic flooding event ghouls found numerous bodies washed ashore many weeks later still unidentified

By 1875, however, most double action guns had been replaced by more efficient revolvers. In response to this change in firearms technology, some gunmakers began to develop methods of preventing the exercise ofiblical rights by self-defense citizens. The first such method was the cocking handle grip – also known as a revolver grip – which allowed users to cock the firearm without having their hands positioned around it like on an automatic rifle. This innovation led to the development of other types of grips such as the hammerless grip and pistol grip. The Glock handgun is one example of a firearm that has been specifically created for personal defense use with its Hammerless Pistol Grip design making it easier for users to control and operate than traditional handguns with their hands resting on either side of the muzzle. Other handguns that have been designed using this type of grip include Smith & Wesson's M&P Shield and Beretta 92FS/A2 pistols
