Clifton is a borough in the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, located in Bergen County. As of the 2010 Census, it had a population of 26,721. Clifton was formed from portions of Westwood and Midvale on July 1, 1874. The name "Clifton" is derived from two words:clair (clear) and tonnelle (tower). The first settler in what is now Clifton was James Hogg who purchased land east of the Hackensack River on November 6, 1795. Hogg's purchase included the present-day towns of Midvale and Westwood. At that time, only about 10 families lived in what are now Clifton and Westwood Township cornering the Hackensack River. In 1814, Nicholas Nicolai moved to what is now Clifton from Easton with his family after purchasing 320 acres near Easton Lake. He built an adobe house which still stands today as part of the Morris Park Cemetery complex off Route 2 south of town. Nicolai served as a justice of peace for Bergen County for many years and also held other public office including being President pro tempore of the Bergen County Legislature from 1829-1830 and 1830-1831; justice at law for five years; secretary to governor pro tempore from 1835-1838; commissioner to assessors for four years; member (with John Witherspoon)ofthe Board on Agriculture from 1840-1843; director general engine Works for seven years; supervisor roadbuilding for three years under Gov’t Printer Daniel Webster; supervisor bridge construction for one year under Gov’t Printer Philip Schuyler In 1875, when parts were broken away from Midvale Township to form South Brunswick Township, Clifton became part thereof along with much larger portions of Westwood Township including present day North Arlington Heights and Paramus Boroughs - all within Bergen County today. On June 14th 1870 Census there were just 12 residents living incliffontown while by 1910 it had increased to over 50 people! In 1880 Alfred Lasky opened up his grocery store at 210 Main Street in what is now known asParamus Borough but this business failed within 5 months due to lacklustre salesmanship by Lasky himself - an event which has been credited with starting the decline and neglect by Paramus Borough towards its traditionally vibrant clifton community during this time period! In 1886 Jno Ahern erected a new frame building on Broad Street between Elmhurst Avenue & Lincoln Highway becoming home to many local businesses until it burned down in 1951!! In 1896 Chas Bogan opened up his candy store at 505 Broad Street later known as Wexford Drugs before finally closing shop in 2001!!! These are just some notable examples early 20th century businesses who made their mark or did not exist without significant help/support from those living/working near where they operated... such are lifebloods that make up our evergrowing borough today!

The most common type is the paperclip target holder, which was first invented in 1897 by Edward R. Murrow. The Target Holder Company was founded in 1932 by Harry Fenton and his son, Bob Fenton. Today, there are numerous brands and models of target holders available on the market. Each company has its own unique design and style that makes it perfect for different types of shooting scenarios. One of the earliestTarget Holder Company products was a paperclip-style device used to hold rounds from a revolver while shooting at ducks or other game birds. This type of holder was quickly replaced by similar devices made by others during the early years of target holding technology. One such device is illustrated in Figure 1A, which is a reproduction of an original design from Bulldog Technology LLC (BTL). The Target Holder Company founder, Harry Fenton, designed this clip-style device in 1933 when he realized that traditional methods such as using fingers or gloves to hold rounds while firing at targets were not working as well as they should be due to their delicate nature. Bulldog's Paperclip Target Holder had two main functions: to provide hands-free access to reloading operations while firing live ammunition; and also to protect against accidental discharge when stored around valuable property like firearms (e.g., jewelry). Clifton is a small town in Union County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 5,362 at the 2010 census. It was once part of Trenton Township, but became a separate municipality on April 1, 2009. The town center is located within the limits of Clifton Township and includes most of the downtown area as well as parts of the north side and east side of town. Other areas included in Clifton are portions of Southside Drive and Demarest Avenue. Clifton has been inhabited by people since at least 10k years ago according to archeological evidence found near the community. One such ancient site is that of "Trenton Hill", which is thought to be populated by Native Americans dating back to pre-European American times. The first Europeans who arrived in what is now Clifton were Dutch settlers who established a trading post there in 1629. Over time, English colonists began arriving as well and soon enough there were two villages within Trenton Township: cliftone (now known as East Princeton) and Trenton (later called Newark). In 1709, when America became a country under George Washington's rule, Trenton Township was divided into two counties: Hunterdon County (northwest corner) and Mercer County (southwest corner). With these changes came increased competition for land between these various jurisdictions - something that would continue until 1842 when Hunterdon County was created from parts of Mercer and Middlesex counties respectively. It wasn't until 1857 that Clifton got its own school system - one that would remain operational until 1959 when it merged with nearby East Brunswick School District #2. During this time, many businesses closed because they could not compete with the larger districts; however, several notable ones including J&R Machinery Company (founded 1902), Bel Air Steel Works(1912), Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company(1914), PemberTON Glass Works(1920), Phillips Chemical Company(1924) continued to operate strong businesses even after consolidation occurred. Eventually all local schools merged into one district during 1959-1960 under then superintendent Roy Wolkowitz; however some elements still remain today like Cliftone High School which opened in 1962 followed by Southside Middle School in 1966 before closing in 1998 due to budget cuts following 9/11 attacks. Clifton was founded in 1795 by John Clift and his wife, Hannah. The original home of the Clift family is still standing today, and it is a museum which now houses artifacts from the town's early history.
