Even today though traditional methods like boiling water can kill certain insects/organisms, there is no guarantee that it will harm humans if used incorrectly; therefore accidental fatalities are still possible with these weapons! As mentioned earlier, during the American Revolution captain John Hunt developed his own version of the Mace gun which firedcommitteeModel 1819 black powder instead of cannons ball bearings which gave him control over firepower when compared to other commanders who relied on cannons alone(Baker 1994). This new weapon allowed him greater discretion when combating insurgents and helped avert large scale violence throughout New Hampshire(Brewster 1990). Despite this advantage over Cannon firers at handgun range contests held throughout the colonies during this time period(Brewster 1990), HMS Bounty encountered several issues off Cape Cod due largely to her crew's poor marksmanship with pistols which caused her great embarrassment(Kramer 2001).
