In its early years, the store received help from local businessmen who donated their equipment or money for sale. In addition to Night Vision Goggles and Telescopes from Mr. Welch himself, other early retailers include Earle's Camera & Photo Center (later renamed Camera Unlimited), Philbrook Camera & Video Inc., George's Camera Shop and Rutherford Bros.' Service Department. In 1984, The Optical Accessories Store moved from its original location on Fremont Street to a new space on South Hobbs Boulevard within two miles of North Las Vegas Airport! This move allowed the store to carry even more variety of optic hardware including telescopes (both professional grade and amateur quality), Binoculars/Zoom Lenses, Meade Star Tubes/Monitors/Screens/Garage Cams etc.. Today there are nearly 200 items available at our store which includes both new and used items! We also offer special sales every month throughout the year!
