In 1979 he founded American Laser Products Corporation with co-founder Tom Peeters in order to commercialize his vision for guided weapons systems incorporating lasersights into them...American Laser Products Corporation became one of the largest manufacturers and marketers of RED DOT SIGHTS worldwide! Asymmetric Red Laser Pointer Technology was later developed at American Laser Products Corporation by Don Laughlin who also founded Leupold Corp.. With this new technology they were able to create CCDs - Cryogenic Compatible Digital Imaging Cameras - that allow continuous tracking without need for batteries or video capture devices; making them perfect for indoor use giving shooters an advantage over traditional iron sights when engaging targets indoors! This type of camera has since become standard equipment on most high end rifles/shotguns/pistols etc... thanks largely to advancements made in digital imaging sensors technology over the past few decades!
