Despite these setbacks however, many locals continue support their community due largely to their hope for continued success stories like those seen within business districts such as Downtown Boulder City or North End which are seeing significant redevelopment efforts both inside and outside of their walls thanks in no small part to initiatives spearheaded by Mayor Donny Lamb who has spent his entire career working tirelessly on behalf of this unique community

In 1988 Boulder City annexed the small unincorporated community of Centennial which had a population of just over 100 people when it annexation occurred
