The history of firearms in Boulder City, Nevada can be traced back to the early 1800s. At that time, the area was a part of the Spanish Empire and many guns were imported from Spain. As the years passed, more and more gun dealers opened up in town and people started getting interested in shooting. In 1904, a man named John Laughlin founded the Laughlin Gun Shop in Boulder City and began selling handguns. Soon after, other gun dealers started opening up all over town and things got really busy. In 1916, a man named Harry Pratt founded The Gunsmith Gallery in Boulder City. His business became very popular because he was able to sell various types of firearms including shotguns, pistols, rifles and even machineguns. In 1923, another man named Clarence King opened up The Pistol Emporium which became one of the most famous pistol stores in town. He specialized in buying new pistols for collectors as well as selling used pistols. Throughout the years, different groups have formed to help promote shooting within Boulder City. One group is called The Riflemen who spend their weekends firing range sessions at nearby Red Rock Canyon National Park. Another group is called The Pistolmakers who meet every month to discuss new handgun designs and ways to improve accuracy with their firearms. Finally, there is also an organization called The Shooting Gallery which meets monthly to discuss current firearm technology and how it can be applied to hunting or target practice

Boulder City is a small town in Clark County, Nevada, United States. The population was 1,819 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The first people to live in what is now Boulder City were the Paiute Indians. They camped near the present-day city limits for months at a time during wintertime. In 1864, surveyor John Sutter discovered gold and named the settlement after himself, George Boulder (after Sutter's father). By 1886, most of what is now Boulder City had been developed as a mining town with some 250 buildings and around 12 miles of streets. Mining stopped in 1902 but local mills continued until 1926 when they closed because of high costs of raw materials needed to make steel products from coal dusts. In 1907, miner and rancher Harry Harvey organized an amateur football team known as "The Wolverines" to play against other towns in Clark County due to their lack of football players. The team played its first game on October 15th against Pershing Station and lost by two touchdowns; this was also the first victory for any team ever fielded by Boulder City residents outside organized football play! During World War II, Boulder City served as one of six camps used by military personnel stationed in Clark County between 1942 and 1945. A nearby Mojave Desert airfield was also used for flying training missions during this time period. After World War II ended, many new families moved into Boulder City looking for simpler living than found within Las Vegas or Henderson NV which were becoming more dense with every passing year according to censuses taken during that time frame resulting in a population growth rate over 10%. However big-box stores started opening up throughout Northern Nevada quickly displacing independent businesses so much so that Bergdorf Goodman announced plans to open up shop on Main Street just east of I-15 about 1985 giving rise to what is now known as "The Strip". With no major industry left standing there wasn't much reason for these large retailers to stay put other than nostalgia or simply wanting more space! In recent years however development has begun again with several new businesses opening up including Applebees being founded by developers in 2006 followed by Costco Wholesale Club warehouse store opened along I-15 just north of downtown in 2009 followed by JBL Sound & Light Cinemas (opened along I-15 south of downtown) making it clear that while larger businesses have left town overnight they are not done yet!

Boulder City was founded on November 29, 1864, by James W. Gunn and his brother-in-law, Brigham Young. The town grew quickly, and in 1868 it became the county seat of Clark County. In 1912 Boulder City annexed the city of North Las Vegas.
