Since then, many updates have been made to Scottsbluff's city government including enlarging its park system, adding new buildings such as a law enforcement station, fire department and ambulance garage, and constructing several roads- most notably Broadway Street which links downtown with residential areas north of town while also serving as a bypass route for residents south of town.
