Gun magazines have a long and varied history in Lincoln, Nebraska. From the early days of firearms to the present day, there has been a gun magazine in town. In 1903, two businessmen named Edward Hutton and George Meagher founded "The Omaha Rifle Journal" in order to promote rifle practice within the city limits. The journal continued to be published until 1916. During that time period, it also became one of the earliest publications to focus on political news in Nebraska. In 1912, another editor named Clarence Olson set up shop at 9th & Douglas Streets in order to create what would become known as "The Lincoln News-Herald". The paper was initially published three times per week but eventually increased its frequency to six times per week throughout its years of publication. It also became an important factor in spreading information about local events within the city through its coverage of public meetings and civic events alike. In 1934, Gun Owners Foundation (GOF) began publishing their own magazine called "National Firearms Magazine". This new publication was designed specifically for people interested in owning or acquiring handguns within America's capital City. GOF continued publishing their magazine until 1978 when it merged with American Shooting Sports Incorporated (ASSI). At that point, ASSI took over publication operations from GOF with an aim towards providing more accurate information on all things shooting sports related within Lincolnshire County!

The end result was that Lincoln's policies were largely successful throughout his presidency, helping him win reelection four times before his death in 1865 at age 64 while still term-limited; he is one of only two Ulysses S. Grant presidents (the other being Franklin D Roosevelt) who have been re-elected three times despite losing an election.* After his death, Nebraska passed a bill granting voting rights to Native Americans living on Indian reservations* and becoming one of only eight U.S.* states to join The Great Society programs such as Medicare and Medicaid.*

The city became a center for the American Civil War because of its strategic location as the key point between Union General Ulysses S. Grant's army in the east and Confederate General Robert E.
