The first type of ammunition was shot which consisted of small lead balls that could be fired from a bow or crossbow. Shot was replaced by artillery rounds in the 12th century AD when cannons became available. Cannonballs were made out of heavy lead, gunpowder and metal shell parts that would be fired at a target using an engine to propel them into the air and then fall back to earth asrapnel. The first cannonball-type projectile was created by Portuguese scientist Cristóvão Colombo in 1498 during his experiments with an improved mortar known as “Ossete”. The new weapon had two wooden frames connected by leather straps so that it could be towed behind a horse or cart for firing over distances up to 100 yards (91 m). When aimed, this weapon would fire large stone bolts which hit their target directly above and below it – something similar to modern artillery shells but instead of being explosive, these bolts were incendiary (exploding on impact). The Spanish Armada attempted to invade England in 1588 with 102 ships carrying almost 1 million barrels (46 tons) of cannonball-type ammunition including 508 ballistaopes each - enough for 4 Hiroshimas! However, despite being able to shoot down more than 20% of these vessels with only 8 shots out 106 rounds from their main armament, no one succeeded in achieving an advantageous position before reinforcements arrived from England led by Admiral Drake with 300 warships carrying even more munitions including 2200 ballistaopes each! Nevertheless, much has been learned about artillery through its use throughout history: muzzleloaders have become unreliable after becoming overloaded with high-g loading; close range salvos cannot actually damage warships; guns must constantly aim so that accurate hits are possible; effective fire control systems must limit droop (a commander's ability to change his/her fire direction); projectiles need special ingredients such as black powder or cast iron dusts called ingots which make them explode on impact – all factors which contribute towards making war more deadly today than ever before!

In 1907, the Nebraska Legislature passed a bill providing for primary school education for all children within the state of Nebraska without parental consent or pay; this new law became effective on July 1 of that year. On November 5, 1910, voters approved a resolution to name the town after General George Custer; this resolution was ratified by the town board on December 10th.
