Hastings is a town in Kimball County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 1,569 at the 2010 census. Hastings is located on the south side of the Platte River and it straddles both banks of the river. It is bordered by the city of Omaha to its east and southwest, Canada to its north and west, and Willard to its northwest.
