Hastings, Nebraska is home to the first gunsmith in the United States. The man who did this was J.B. Stevens and his shop was located on Second Street west of Hastings Boulevard. It was here that early firearms were created and repaired. Handguns started appearing in the area around 1854 and by 1860 there were three gunsmiths in town. In 1876, Leland Stanford bought a piece of property just east of Hastings Boulevard and began construction on what would become Stanford University. This caused a drastic change to the Gunsmithing industry as well as to the way guns were used in America. Without access toStanford's money, many of these men lost their businesses and their livelihoods. In 1927, Hawkins & Company opened up shop on First Avenue south of Hastings Boulevard which continued to be a major player in the industry until it closed its doors in 1984 due to financial problems. Today, only two other shops remain open within NRA limits- one located at 350 Main Street in Douglas and another at 402 Naylor Avenue just outside of Hastings Village Limits). These shops have long been considered among the best in terms of firearm repair and restoration work; however, they are now all closed for business reasons unrelated to NRA activity (i.e., lack of funding).

In 1907, the Hastings Methodist Episcopal Church was organized by Revs John Hargrave and George Wickersham from a congregation that had been organized two years earlier at another location near present day North High School. Reverend Hargrave served as its first pastor for many years before his retirement in 1978. The current pastor is Rev Dr James Dobbins who has been serving since October 2016 Hastings experienced heavy flooding during flash flooding events associated with Hurricane Harvey on August 29th-30th of 2017 which destroyed dozens of homes and businesses leaving over 350 people homeless and many more displaced within their communities including some who may have lost everything they had taken with them when they evacuated or fled their homes

For those reasons I would definitely recommend getting another set if you don't already own one just incase! If you're upgrading an existing firearm please take note that certain airsoft barrels do not compatible with certain upgrades such as muzzle brakes etc., so make sure you get your new barrel before upgrading your old one! Note: If Original Barrel does not Fit After Upgrading Please Get A New One!
