Bellevue, Nebraska is home to the Bellevue Rifle Club, founded in 1892. The club has a rich history that goes back to when guns were used for hunting and target practice. In 1898, Bellevue residents voted to allow firearms ownership and trading among themselves. This was a major step forward for gun rights in the city. In 1932, the Bellevue Rifle Club added a rifle range and began hosting other shooting events. The club also constructed an outdoor pool in 1938 which still serves as a popular attraction today. In 1959, the Bellevue Rifle Club became one of first organizations in Nebraska to conduct instructor training on AR-15 rifles. Over time, the club has done many interesting things with its equipment including firing live rounds from an air pistol at 100 yards! The Bellevue Rifle Club currently operates three ranges - one each for skeet, trap and sporting clays - as well as an indoor range that can accommodate up to sixty shooters. They also have two trophy rooms where members can store their rifles and trophies. As you walk through their facilities, it's clear that this organization has been dedicated to providing safe fun for everyone who visits them!

Today, Bellevue remains an agricultural community that relies heavily on agriculture exports for income; however, it also continues to be home to several businesses which are responsible for providing important services to its citizens such as hospitals and schools. Additionally, Bellevue is known for its wide variety of cultural amenities which include two annual music festivals - Main Street Stagefest and Octoberfest - as well as a variety of arts and entertainment events throughout the year.

Bellevue is a small town in Belvidere County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 927 at the 2000 census. Bellevue was founded in 1887 by General James Fenton and his family. It is the oldest community in Belvidere County and one of the oldest towns in Nebraska. Bellevue has been nicknamed "The Granite City" because of its granite quarries and other stone landmarks. Bellevue was originally named for General James Fenton, who founded it in 1887. The name change comes from a story about howGeneral Fenton met a woman named Belle Isle who told him she would name her new town Bellevue after him if he would move to her house to survey the land. When General Fenton arrived in town, he saw that there were no streets or buildings, so he ordered his men to erect some wooden poles with “Bellevue” written on them so that people could see where they were going when they came into town. This started what became known as "The Builder's Drive", which runs through Bellevue today. In 1901, Bellevue had a post office with an initial mailing address of South Bend, Indiana but it closed within 6 months due to lack of mail volume. In 1907, Bellevue opened its own mail box which remains open today (to this day). In 1912, BellevUE had its first school - Gertrude Haggerty Elementary School - which still serves as the primary educational institution for residents of BellevUE today! From 1913-1968 (the last time it served as an elementary school), BellevUE housed two high schools: La Vista High School and Lincoln High School which are both now defunct and property of their respective districts/schools respectively! During these years (1913-1968), many talented young adults bought or were given homes in BellevUE before graduating from local high schools; including actors Neil Patrick Harris and Tim Curry; athletes like Ron Dean; engineers John Putnam and Bob Kapp; musicians like Joe Bonamassa; architects Don Kilpatrick and Phil Neuman;etc etc etc... In 2003-2004, Mayor Tom Jorgensen announced plans to demolish all three blocks north of Main Street between First Avenue & Cedar Street due to rising costs associated with maintaining infrastructure needed for growth such as roadsnamely sidewalks & streetlights etc.; however protests ensued leading to Jorgensen announcing that he wouldn't allow demolition until more information could be obtained about potential replacement development plans! One possible replacement development plan includes building an arena/park adjacent to Main Street just east of Cedar Street pending further study & approval from city officials! In 2006-2007 citizens voted overwhelmingly against any new development adjacent to Main Street without proper planning or coordination with neighboring communities!!! Many believe this voterepresentativeOfHowManyPeopleWantedToKeepBellevUEAsItIs!!
