Beatrice is a small town in Nebraska, population 1,391 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Kearney-Bellevue, NE Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Beatrice school district covers an area of over 83 square miles (193 square kilometers). In 1881, when Nebraska was organized as a state, Beatrice was the only town in its territory. At that time there were only a few scattered farmers and a few families of Mission Indians living on the Indian reservations in eastern Nebraska. When Omaha began to grow rapidly after being founded by Mormon settlers in 1858, they needed more workers for their new city and soon became interested in acquiring land east of the Missouri River for development. They offered to sell any piece of land east of Iowa Street and south of Saint Anthony Avenue to anyone who would agree to build a townsite on it. The first person to agree was Samuel Morse, who built his first store near what is now Beatrice Boulevard and First Street. The town gradually grew around this business center until it reached its current size by 1920. By then many other businesses had been established including restaurants, stores, schools, hospitals and churches. In addition to this commercial activity there were also several farms which produced cornstalks (maize), hay (a type of cattle feed) and potatoes; some still operate today. A number of well-known people from Beatrice have gone on to distinction in their fields: David Dudley Rockefeller II was born here; former president Jimmy Carter spent much time at our high school; author Margaret Atwood attended local public schools before becoming one of America's most famous writers; political commentator Rush Limbaugh came from here too

This paper will focus on the history of sunglasses in photography as they have become an essential piece of equipment for some of the world’s most popular photographers. Photographers first began using sunglasses in the late 1800s when they were necessary to protect their eyes from sun exposure. At that time, sunglasses were made out of a variety of materials such as leather or cloth, but eventually plastic became widespread because it was more durable than other materials. The use of plastic sunglasses continued into the 1960s when bifocal glasses became popularized in photography. These glasses had two shades that could be worn independently by different people and allowed photographers to capture a wider range of colors while still having clear vision. While plastic sunglasses remained popular through the 1970s and 1980s, progress has recently been made with new technological advancements that allow photographers to create works with more realistic coloration without sacrificing clarity. During the past few decades, several new trends have emerged that are changing how photographers view optics andsunglasses specifically: holographic printing technology; air-brushed aluminum cans; OLED displays; computational lighting techniques; curved mirror systems; light therapy devices; 3D printing technologies etcetera. Beatrice is a small town in Douglas County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 1,322 at the 2010 census. Beatrice was founded in 1875 and named after the then-newly created state of Nebraska. The first post office in Beatrice was established on July 14, 1875. The town has been downhill since its founding and by 1920 it consisted of just one store and a few homes. However, over time Beatrice's businesses have grown into some of the larger economic entities in the area. Today, Beatrice is known for its annual summer parade which attracts thousands of people to the streetsides throughout downtown each July. The first settler to arrive in what is now Beatrice was John King who arrived on September 12, 1876. He built a cabin near what is now First Street and Main Avenue. In 1880 another early settler named George White came to this area from Dodge City and homesteaded on land that became east side of Second Street between Main Avenue and North Washington Street today known as White Road (now Interstate 80). In 1902 John Sizer settled here with his family also that year when he purchased 640 acres (24 km²) around present day Fourth Street between US 6th and Seventh Streets from James Henshaw Sr.. Sizer would become one of the most significant landowners within modern-day Beatrice through his holdings in several townships including Spring Valley Township (later part of Hastings), Hugo Township (later absorbed into Lincoln), Newton Township (later absorbed into Fremont), Parsons Junction Township (now part of Hastings) as well as portions of Potter County southwest of Omaha proper including parts currently located within Kearney County In 1915 an act called the Nebraska Consolidated Act unincorporated areas north of State Highway 7 were annexed by far-north Omaha making Beatrice technically part of that city limits though it remains considered rural until locals start referring to themselves as "Beatrices" or simply "Beatrix". By 1925 there had been enough growth for a new county courthouse – built on State Highway 7 across from today's First Baptist Church – but no corresponding hospital so settlement continued around current day Fourth Street between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Hotel which served as both Post Office/Bank & Grain Store until 1929 when Drury Hospital opened nearby with tuberculosis patients moved out when that hospital became available at Sioux City Clinic prior to that location becoming availableindustrial park along I-80 exit 54 Northeast corner street
In 1868, the Nebraska Territory was organized. It Included what is now the state of Nebraska, as well as parts of Iowa and Wyoming. The territory was named for General John C. Fremont, who had led an attack on Mexico in 1847. In 1862, the United States Congress created the Kansas Territory out of part of the Nebraska Territory.
