The shooter fired a round into the tube, and when it exploded, the gas pressure inside caused the bullet to fly out of the tube and into the target.
Butte Silver Bow is a small town in Butte County, Montana, United States. The population was 2,914 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Helena, MT Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Town of Butte Silver Bow was founded on December 3, 1895 by the homesteaders of the area who named it for their country's then-newest silver mine (the first ever in Montana). The town grew rapidly and soon had a post office, general store, schoolhouse and various other public buildings. In 1907 Butte Silver Bow became an incorporated municipality with its own government and community hall. In 1949 Butte Silver Bow voters passed a resolution to secede from neighboring Helena because they felt that their municipal government was too restrictive to residents' individual rights and liberties. The secession motion failed but it served as a rallying cry for many years against central government controlled institutions in what is now Butte County. On July 9-10, 1957 two Fords drove into Andes Mine Roadbottom just east of town after finding gold coins there about 25 miles northeast of Yellowstone National Park while prospecting for silver veins near Gardiner Dam on the Flathead River system; one day later these same two cars discovered another vein of gold about six miles northwest of town on Buttes Creek Rd., also just east of Andes Mine roadbottom. This discovery led to increased mining activity around town from early 1957 until well into 1958 which made Fords quite richly off this new find! This increase in mining activity caused more than $5 million dollars worth of treasure to be discovered over various periods during 1958 through 1959 alone - making buttesilver bow one of the most heavily mined towns in America at that time! Some local historians dispute that this really amounted to much since little or no genuine Treasure has been found anywhere near buttesilver bow other than some coins/items turned up here and there over time courtesyof tourists (albeit not always accurately). Nevertheless though officially billed as "ButTElverBow's Gold Rush" - hardly anything significant has actually come out OF THE GOLD rush since then apart from some nice commemorative items or medals perhaps? What does make BUTTElVERBOW special though are all those wonderful old wood floors & walls covered with beautiful old paintings still present today!

Brown and named for the silver mines at Butte City, Montana. The first post office at Butte Silver Bow opened on October 15, 1879. The population of Butte Silver Bow was 1,500 people in 1880; it grew to 2,000 by 1890. By 1915 the population had reached 5,000 residents. In 1922 the Post Office closed due to lack of mail service from Helena. The town remained inactive until its reactivation in 1963 when it became a ghost town again due to high levels of environmental pollution caused by nearby copper smelters operating until 1978
