Gun Swivels, also known as "gun-rotting swivels", are devices that allow a gun to be rotated in a desired direction. This was originally developed by the United States military in the early 1900s as an add-on to disassemble and reassemble firearms. Gun rotators were later adapted to civilian use and today are widely used by hunters, shooters, and collectors alike. Gun rotators have been around for centuries and their use can be traced back to at least the 15th century when Muslim traders brought firearm rotate technology with them from India. The first reference to gun rotators comes from China in 1194 BC when they noted that some Muslims had acquired "a new way of holding their spears". Riflemen would turn their rifles towards the enemy in order to twist the barrel so that it pointed backwards (an effective weapon against cavalry). The first recorded application of gun rotators within the United States military came about during World War I when soldiers were required to reload their weapons frequently due to ammunition shortages. To alleviate this problem, military officers began using rifle barrels which were twisted into a variety of configurations in order to enable easier access to rounds inside the breechface. A related development occurred during World War II when grenade launchers became increasingly reliant on rotating barrels for fire control. The ability for gunsight operators aboard warships or aircraft carriers such as USS Enterprise (CVN) to direct artillery fire was improved through the use of rotating barrels on anti-aircraft guns. In addition, machineguns and shotgunry were also becoming more specialistized requiring specialized cocking mechanisms that could not be accomplished with standard hand crank action designs. Wentzville is a small town in Clinton County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,596 at the 2010 census. It is part of the St. Louis metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in Wentzville were two families who came to the area around 1834. The community was named for General Henry Wentz, an officer in the Union army during the American Civil War and governor of Kansas Territory after that state's admission into the United States as a free state on May 6, 1861. In 1857, John Ladd bought land east of present-day Wentzville from Jonas Ritchie and built a cabin thereon which he called "Ladd's Grove". He also founded what is now Ladd's Spring Academy, which served as a high school until it closed in 1969. In 1865, George Wroughtman (Gwendolyn Woodruff) settled on land west of present-day Wentzville on which he erected a log cabin and began to cultivate corn and wheat. His family continued to farm here until 1923 when they moved to Crestwood; later that year they sold their farmstead and some neighboring land to Harry Fenton for $1,000 cash. In 1929–30 Harry Fenton donated all of his farming lands— including parts of what are now Wentzville—to the townships within Clinton County for use as public roads or parklands; these lands became known as "Fenton Prairie." That same year fellows from Holy Cross College established Houghton College Preparatory School in nearby Florissant before it merged with local Houghton High School in 1967 to become Houghton Community Schools District #2 (now USD 2287). In 1945–46 Gertrude Price nourished chickens at her home on West Elm Street while she attended Washington University in St Louis; this became Price Place restaurant which she operated until her death in 1984. From 1946 through 1960 Milford Lane grocery store operated at Seventh and Main Streets near where present-day Sibley Park resides; this store was razed by developers during the 1960s because its location made it difficult to build new shopping malls designed around large campuses then being developed throughout metro areas across America - Consequently this section of town bears only traces of evidence from its past existence such as an intact earthen wall remnant dating back to circa 1800

Wentzville is a small town in the Ozarks of Missouri. The population was 5,912 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Springfield-Springfield County, Missouri Micropolitan Statistical Area. The name "Wenzville" likely comes from German settlers who came to the area in 1836. The community was platted in 1839 by Wm. Wentz and wife Fannie Barnes Wentz and named for their father, George Washington Wentz (1788-1860). George Washington went to college at Carleton College in Minnesota and then studied law with John Marshall Harlan, one of America's most successful attorneys. He married Fannie Barnes in 1827, when she was only 17 years old. They had six children: James (1829-1911), Nettie (1830-1905), Alice (1832-1902), Franklin Davenport (1835-1924), John Quincy Adams Jr.'s son (1838-1920) and two daughters born after their first marriage: Anna Hale Harlan Barrett Wentz Randolph Martin (born 1840) and Harriet Stanton Stowe (born 1842). The family would move around a lot due to Wm.'s business interests but they finally settled on a farm near present day Wentzville in 1840. From this location they began developing what would become an important local industry: farming eggs. In 1850 they built the first chicken coop in central Missouri. By 1865 they were producing over 1 million eggs per year which helped support their community as well as contribute to growth throughout central Missouri. Most importantly though, these days it is easy to visit Wentzville’s many attractions including its fine collection of historical buildings dating back to the late 1800s such as the Masonic Lodge #5 and post office building from 1903; as well as its original shopping center that still has many stores open today including Sears Roebuck & Co.; Jardine’s Department Store; Girdwood Drive hardware store; Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company; First National Bank; Irey Chevrolet dealership; General Electric plant; American Legion Post #118; Methodist Episcopal Church #2A on Main Street corner with Ulysses S Grant Boulevard etc.. There are also several restaurants scattered throughout town including Old Country Buffet restaurant, White Castle hamburgers ($) etc..

On November 3, 1912 the name change to Wentzville, Missouri to honor General George Smedley Butler who had fought in World War I and later served as United States Ambassador to Mexico City.
