Gun slings, also known as gun cinque and simply "slings", are a type of firearm sling used to carry a gun. They originated in the 18th century when pistols were typically carried with one hand and the other gripping the barrel. To carry them more easily, some people would put their pistols in a canvas or leather sling that had two straps around each end. A muzzleloader could be swung over one shoulder like a sack of potatoes while on horseback so it was easier to get at targets from long range. A man holding a rifle would hurl it over his shoulder with one hand and use his free arm to take aim and pull the trigger with the other hand; thus freeing up his arm for other tasks. So-called "drumming" rifles were slung over an individual's back or shoulders like this. The rifle was then brought down quickly by quick takedowns of its stock, leaving enough slack in the strap to let the person bringing it down hang onto it while being pulled up by its recoil before putting it back on its feet again. This system allowed rapid target acquisition without having to reload. It is still used today as part of hunting expeditions and SWAT team training exercises

A Shotgun Sling is another type of gunslung that uses two straps going around either side of a barrel thereby holding the barrel in place as you fire shells out from it through the open end over your shoulder or elbow-guard area (depending on how tight/loosely you secure it). The advantage over other shotguns when utilizing a Shotgun Sling is that if there areolitic rounds being fired- such as buckshot- they will disperse slowly thruout an animal's body rather then bursting suddenly like with handguns where all round impact causes instant death & dismemberment

Webb City is a small town in Jackson County, Missouri, United States. The population was 2,979 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Webb City is named after Daniel Webb, an early settler who platted the town in 1857 and donated land to the county for its hospital and other purposes. Webb City was incorporated on November 4, 1871, as a result of a referendum sponsored by Representative John H. Atchison. At that time, it consisted of only about 120 people living in thirteen buildings on . The first post office was established in Webb City on December 5, 1871. In 1878, the village had a population of 364 and became one of fourteen townships within Jackson County when it was organized. In 1904, Webb City erected a $5 Volunteer Fire Department building which still stands today (although it has been significantly modified over time). The fire department also constructed two other buildings:one housing the library and another used as the county courthouse until 1959 when that structure was destroyed by a tornado. In 1912-13 new industries were built in Webb City with lube oil being one such company; however these companies all left before World War I began and no evidence remains to support their existence beyond what may be found from local documentation or tax records. From 1928 to 1951 WebbCity experienced considerable prosperity thanks to its location near Mount Carmel during Plains Classic Time - an agricultural fair which attracted many businesses and workers from throughout central Missouri to Crawfordville for trade shows and other events related to agriculture including livestock exhibitions and horticulture contests etc.. Some operations that continued into the next decade include printing presses (the first one being established here), general store (owned by J J Fenton) golf courses (including one now known as "The Course at Mount Carmel"), wineries (including some operated long after annexation into Kansas), post office(s) (most notably those owned by George Herron) even though most trading activity took place away from town during this period because transportation facilities were much improved then than they are today

Webb City was founded in 1867 by George Webb, a blacksmith and farmer. The town quickly became a center for the local black community, which developed its own economy and social structure. In 1911, Webb City established itself as an independent city under the leadership of Mayor James A. Pruitt. The city experienced significant growth during the years following Pruitt's tenure, culminating in its incorporation as a municipality in 1915. Over the decades, Webb City has undergone various changes and underwent several name changes, but its core demographics have remained largely consistent:black residents make up over 60% of the population and white residents make up less than 10%. Webb City is located in southwestern Missouri on Highway 231 near I-435. It is bordered to the north by Springfield Township and to the east by Webster County. According to the 2010 census, Webb City has a total population of 21,521 people living within its borders (of whom 17,948 are black), making it one of Mooresville's most diverse communities. The majority of Webb City's residents are based in downtown areas including the Village Square Shopping Center and White Street Elementary School; however, there are also many scattered pockets throughout town that offer opportunities for retail shopping or dining experiences unique to their respective neighborhoods. The history of Webb City can be traced back to 1867 when George Webb founded what would become known as Webb City after purchasing land from his brother-in-law John Witherow along with other resources he had collected during his farm operations around this areaabouts mile northeast of present day Springfield Township on Highway 231 between I-435 and Ulysses S. Grant Boulevard." [1] After someInitial construction delays due to lack of funding, George's new town finally opened up shop on October 15th 1868 with 54 citizens total - 33 were black men who worked at George’s smithy while 33 were African American women who cooked food for their husbands or children while they attended school outside of town limits."[2] At first business was conducted out side town limits because there wasn’t enough space within newly created village square – situated just off US 231 today – so businesses moved into buildings already extant on White Street before setting up shop inside 5 blocks radius around main square.[3][4] By 1870 Businesses had started applying for street namesakes starting with “George Washington” then “Washington Avenue” until eventually greeted with approval when General James Hogg bestowed upon them “Webb Avenue” after consulting with locals about possible naming schemes among themselves[5][6].
