Sprague and Wm Sibley. It consisted of three men- John Sprague, William Sibley and Zenas Morse- all of whom were local citizens and farmers at that time.

In 1909, Poorer Chapel (now Miller Chapel) replaced Temperate Hall as the parish church for Washington; however, services there were not held until 1921 due to World War I helmet dependency issues which led to growth within St Louis' Episcopal community (the belltower had been destroyed by German bombers during WWI). In 1922, following a sermon preached by Reverend Alonzo Mourning at Friendship Baptist Church about governmental corruption leading to social disharmony across America, Congress passed The National Prohibition Act which made all alcoholic beverages illegal throughout much of Great Britain except for beer which could still be bought legally from specially licensed stores owned by capitalists or their agents; thus began one of America's most dramatic legal changes—the Dawning Age of Alcohol Prohibition finally arrived in our land! Washington followed suit with passage of its own local prohibition ordinance on November 6th 1923 making all alcohol sales final within city limits! These businesses included a blacksmith shop, a grocery store, a hotel, and even one that grew into an amusement park! In addition, Grigsbyprovided support for local farmers by selling them crops and goods needed for agriculture such as flour and hay. The community also played an important role in supporting religious services during times when those services were needed most. The townsfolk kept their traditions alive even after they moved away from Grigsby Borough towardsGrimsley Township in 1868-69 due to lack of space or resources nearby. For example, many residents still gathered around the old fireplaces at night to cook dinner or watch television; this tradition continues today as part of Missouri's historical culture! Despite these challenges, however, Grigsby ultimately declined into obscurity until recently when officials decided to make it part of Washington County Historical Museum District #5A!
