When the Warrensburg Rifle Company was founded in 1892, it was the first rifle company in Missouri. The rifle company’s mission was to provide high-quality rifles for the military and law enforcement agencies throughout the state. The Warrensburg Rifle Company’s rifles were used by many soldiers and police officers during World War I and World War II. In 1951, the Warrensburg Rifle Company merged with another rifle company, the Springfield Armory, to form Springfield Armory Inc. At Springfield Armory Inc., ar15 upper receivers were manufactured until 1998. From 1978 through 1998, ar15 upper receivers were made in partnership with Cabela’s Gun Sales. This partnership allowed for continuity of production while allowing customers access to a variety of products from both companies. In 1998, Springfield Armory Inc., along with other firearm manufacturers across America, ceased operations due to federal legislation known as “The Brady Bill”. As a result of this legislation, all firearms sales must be conducted through licensed dealers rather than single sources such as gun shows or Internet retailers. As a result of this change in laws, ar15 upper receivers became an increasingly difficult product to find and purchase online or at gun shows. Today, there are several companies that manufacture ar15 upper receivers including Midway Firearms Manufacturing LLC and American manufacturer surplus arms Corp. These companies offer a variety of options including finished guns that have been shot and tested by experienced owners before being offered for sale to consumers (FFLs). It is important to note that these finished guns may not meet all regulatory requirements set forth by the government such as DOJ STAR ratings or MagSafe compatibility. The Warrensburg Armory was founded in 1854 by Captain John S. Butler, a Union officer and rifleman from Warrenton, Missouri. The armory was the first of its kind in the United States, and it functioned as a center for rifles and ammunition distribution until 1906. After that year, it became an armory for the city of Springfield. In 1916, the armory moved to its current location on Main Street in Warrensburg.

Warrensburg, Missouri is a city in the Ozarks region of Missouri and the county seat of Warren County. The population was 5,898 at the 2010 census. It is located on State Route 63, about 20 miles (32 km) northeast of St. Louis. The first European to visit what are now Warrensburg and neighboring Raymore were French traders in the late 16th century. The area that would become Warrensburg was part of a general area east of St. Louis which was disputed by France and England during the 1750s over control of what is now Kansas Territory. In 1811, General Andrew Jackson moved his army through this territory and destroyed several Indian villages before reaching Warrensburg where he ordered Major James Kinsley to build him a road from Independence north to Springfield. On July 4, 1812, Jackson's forces reached Union City which gave Jackson control over most of present-day Missouri south ofKansas City including what is now Warrensburg County. A post office called "Union City" was established in 1827; it changed its name to "Warrensburg" in 1859 when it became the county seat due to growing population thereabouts). In 1865, as part as part of Reconstruction following the American Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln ordered all Confederate troops withdrawn from all southern Ulysses S. Grant's new United States territories west of Texas (the so-called Overland Campaign). This included most eastern Kansas Territory except for small pockets around Topeka and Wichita Falls which remained under Confederate rule until January 1, 1870 when they too fell victim to Union occupation at Appomattox Court House with no formal transition ceremony taking place as required by law: local residents simply vacated their homes and properties became Union property while Confederates retained possession of their military units and other assets pending reparations being rendered under the Treaty between these two sides following their warring exhaustion rates – an event that effectively ended slavery in Kansas forever.] On April 14th 1865,[4] Union soldiers led by Brigadier General John D Trotter burned down one house at 122nd Street & Nolin Avenue after noticing items inside belonging to Confederate officers such as Generals Nathan Bedford Forrest (a personal friend[5]) and Donelson Stephens.[6] This event also served as a pretext for General Order No 1 issued hours later by Ulysses S Grant designating all remaining Confederate forces throughout much Northwestern Missouri must disband or leave within 72 hours or be looted or destroyed according to terms set forth therein – an order that remains largely effective today given inconsistent enforcement across various jurisdictions throughout much Northwestern Missouri.] In 1916–1917,[7][8][9] WACW radio transmission tower #2 was built atop Mount Arkansas hill east side near town square; tower had limited capability but made possible widespread coverage for city during World War I period]. In 1937,[10][11] Pella Air Park opened adjacent southeast corner lot on Third Street opposite depot; park contained three runways plus taxi/drop zone with serviceable hangars capable accommodating upto 35 planes]; airport closed in 1958.; acft operated until 1978.. In 1944,[12][13] VFW Post 6562 was founded adjacent southwest corner lot on Fourth Street opposite depot; building contained clubhouse/cafeteria/storage facility];Post closed in 1990.; Post operates today as First National Bank gdns WVHP 640 AM].

Today, many of the original buildings from earlier years still stand within Warrensburg proper including the old bank building (now part of the McDonald’s restaurant), John Fenton House (named for one of Warrensburg’s founders), and other structures dating back to before 1868 like the Presbyterian Church which was moved from nearby Paintsville to Warrensburg in 1886 and remains unchanged today even though originally constructed with wood frame construction similar to some of these older buildings along Main Street downtown now visible inside McKnight’s Mills property - this alone testimonyifies how important this small town truly felt culturally within its growing community days long ago! In recent decades there have been numerous changes wrought upon what once were quite comfortable living conditions for residents located near downtown such as an increase in traffic volumes making it difficult or even impossible to walk or bike around much since boulevards have been widened considerably all around downtown simply because too much commercial development has taken place adjacent thereto; nonetheless various business owners continue to provide quality albeit limited services available right herewithin our beautiful city limits despite those aforementioned challenges through their Offices/Employees who are always more than willing & able to assist those wishing only positive things about their hometown home away from home!
