The shirt bore the inscription "I am an American Rifleman." In 1921, the National Firearms Act (NFA) was passed and required all firearms dealers to sell t-shirts with serial numbers engraved on them. The act also made it illegal to possess any firearm without a valid license. This law led to the proliferation of T-shirt shops across America, as customers could purchase any gun they wanted and print their own T-shirt with their personal information on it. Throughout the years, there have been various modifications to how T-shirts are designed and printed, including featuring different NRA personnel insignia and photos from history events such as Columbine High School shootings. currently there are over 20 different NRA T-shirt designs available online for purchase. The University City Rifle and Pistol Club was founded in 1892. The club began meets at the Masonic temple on Old Main Street. In 1908, the club moved to its current location at 601 W. Market St., which has been home to UCRC since then. In 1959, the club changed its name to the University City Rifle and Pistol Club Incorporated.

Over time, UIUC grew into one of America's preeminent research universities with programs in both science and engineering; today it offers more than 100 degree tracks including arts and humanities courses as well as professional disciplines such as business, law, health care, etc..UIUC has been ranked third among US private universities by Forbes magazine for quality rankings (behind Yale and Stanford) since 2007! During World War II UIUC served as an important training center for military personnel stationed abroad; many famous scientists including Manhattan Project physicist Enrico Fermi came from UIUC! After the war UIUC underwent dramatic growth with new buildings being erected on campus such as The Gateway Building which houses the School of Medicine and Health Sciences today while also housing several dining halls and retail stores along with several campuses buildings housing various faculties such as Arts & Sciences, Business Administration & Management (BAM), Lawyer/Lawyer Research Institute (LIRI), Social Work & Psychology (SWP), Veterinary Medicine (VM). Today UIUC ranks second among US private universities by Forbes magazine for quality rankings (behind Yale and Stanford) after expanding its undergraduate enrollment by over 50% since 2000!!

University City, Missouri is a small town located in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 8,711 at the 2010 census. It is the second most populous community in St. Louis County after Ferguson. University City was founded on October 12, 1866 by Temperate farmers who had moved to the area from what is now Kansas City and Topeka.[1] The name of the original town site was West Union; it changed to University City on November 1, 1892[2] as a result of an act of Congress which passed to provide for public education within the newly formed state of Missouri. On October 12th, 1866., a group of thirty-six farmers from Topeka relocated to this area in search of better land and water sources than they found near their old home city. They named their new settlement "University City" in honor of Harvests resulted from an experiment done at Washington University (then known as Washington College) some years earlier that had shown how growing crops with irrigation could be profitable and popularized agriculture among more people than just a few elite families. The first post office in University City was established on January 6th, 1870,[3] and continued operation until it closed on December 15th, 1912 due to lack of mail service eastward into St. Louis County during those days.[4] The local school district operated schools until 1906 when all but one were closedtered due to budgetary reasons following the opening of Forest Park Elementary School acrosstown which became one of city's more prominent businesses along with many other Great American places such as Sears Roebuck & Co.'s main store (now known as Old Town Saint Peters), movie theaters like Majestic Theatre (now known as Egyptian Theater), DeSoto Brewery (now known as Schlitz Brewing Company), Ford dealership/parts store (now known as Jiffy Lube Hardware), Masonic Lodge #5 (now known as Red Lion Tavern), Uptown Bowling Alley (!). In 1916 there were only three stores open in town center: Goudreau's grocery store; John Pritzker's clothing store; and Wimpole Tire & Rubber Store - all located around 2nd Street east between 3rd and 4th Streets NW which still remains today one block long full width street filled with several large businesses including: KFC fast food restaurant; Subway sandwich shop; Dunkin' Donuts coffee shop; Applebees restaurant chain - largest concentration being concentrated around 5th Street NE between Walnut and First Streets NE where over 60 restaurants are clustered together making this shopping district world-renowned for its varietyicularity alone! In addition there are several dozen smaller businesses scattered throughout much larger blocks surrounding downtown core including: Barnes & Noble bookstore chain - centered around 7thStreet SE between Market and McDermott Streets SE; major banks like Citizens Bank & Trust branch locations along 5thStreet NE near Interstate 35E - major concentrations being along Elmira Road SW between I-35W AND I-70 leading out towards Interstate 64 etc.). All told there are over 100 business districts within Downtown UniversityCity limits! After World War II UniversityCity experienced rapid growth due largely to two factors: increase in military presence stationed throughout Southern Illinois region resultant from Air Force One deployments during that time period linking Northern Illinois regional airports with Springfield Naval Training Center southwest of Springfield thereby drawing heavily skilled workers away from developed metropolitan areas such as Chicago Heights or Harrisonburg while also resulting in increased demand for housing services resulting primarily from soldiers' wives finding work outside their homes following their husbands' return home having initially been discouraged by various family members back East regarding professional aspirations our servicemen might haveambitionsto pursue outside interests since they knew they would not be able to keep up appearances while living openly off base... In 1960 UIUC opened its own library system housed inside then Main Campus buildings upon request by then Mayor John Fenton signalizing UIUC's entrance onto the national stage... WithUIUC becoming increasingly nationally recognized campusU properties quickly became sought after by corporate headquarters seeking alternate access or parking spaces closeby allowing easy interconnecting transportation linkages onto/within campuses since 1978 when UIUC officially became AETO member!! Today DUIs abound lining every single block cornering Downtown core blocks radius outwardly expanding boundaries well beyond UIUC campus proper!!!
University City, Missouri was founded in 1836 by white men as the first town on the present-day University of Missouri campus. The town's growth was largely due to its location on a major road connecting Carbondale, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri. By 1860, University City had a population of 1,500 residents and was home to the first university in Missouri.
