Mr. Dutton also donated land for a public square on which students can still find examples of his original designs for their campus today. Today, Professor Oliver Sacks lives in University City with his wife Dr. Ruth Sacks and their two children Axel SANFORD SACKS (born 1984) who teaches neuroscience at Yale Medical School & Evelyn KELLY SACKS (born 1990) who studies law at Northwestern Law School and has worked as an editor for "The New Yorker" Magazine since 2010. They are also parents to nerve damage research scientist Nathaniel Harvard SACKS (born 2006).

University City, Missouri is a city in Stephens County, Missouri, United States. The population was 7,236 at the 2010 census. University City is theGateway to the Ozarks and lies on the border of Marshall County and Webster County. The city was founded by brothers Elijah and John Purdy in 1856 as a station on the Great Western Railroad. It became an agricultural center and later became known for its manufacturing plants such as Ford Motor Company, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Monsanto Company, and Boeing Aircraft Corporation. The University of Central Missouri (UCM) campus located in University City served as one of three universities in what is now Kansas City, MO from 1907 until 1986 when it merged with Kansas State University to form Kansas Citrus College. In 1892–93 UCM built Southeastern Illinois Agricultural College (SEIAC) which became a research university after it merged with Emporia State Teachers College that year. In 1924 SEIAC moved to its current location on Main Street in University City while ICA began instruction at Beloit Junior-Senior High School on Sixth Avenue between Broadway and Euclid Streets before moving into their present building on North First Street in 1928. UIUC purchased SEIAC's buildings east of Kirkwood Avenue between Third and Fourth streets in 1954; Northwestern Illinois Normal School then took over ICA's programs there until 1973 when they transferred to UIUC proper. In 1982 ICA closed due to lack of funding but reopened under new name: Eastern Illinois Univisionscience & Technology Park (EIUTP). EIUTP moved back intoUIUC's buildings south of Interstate 44 near downtown KCMO in 2006 where it currently resides pending final approval from theMO State Boardof Regents University City also contains two parks - Washington Park off Main Street opposite UIUC's main entrance and Elmwood Park across Seventh Avenue from UIUC's main entrance - both were originally designed for farming use but have been gradually converted over time into recreational areas serving the community at large including basketball courts/pumpskin races etc., as well as a number of small businesses situated around them offering various services such as plumbing repair or lawn care etc..
University City was first settled in 1839 by the Missouri Volunteers, who were sent to Fayetteville to help suppress a slave insurrection. The town grew quickly and began receiving immigrants from nearby towns, such as Lebanon and Quincy. In 1847, University City became the capital of Missouri. The city was renamed for George Washington Carver in 1865 after he donated land to the town. The city continued to grow until it reached its current size in 1920.
