In 1949-50 when Rifle Scope manufacturer Oehlers merged with Browning & Nichols Optical Corporation (B&NOC), one of the largest optical companies in the world at that time - this merger led to a major change within RCA: instead of using multiple manufacturers to produce different types of optics (e.g., Schmidt & Bender etc.), RCA now relied simply on B&NOC’s quality standards and production methods – resulting in some incredible products such as the Model 1895 sniper rifle scope! It is interesting to note that even today many top retailers sell B&NOC optics direct from ATSCO dealerships across North America! During World War II several hundred thousand U.S. soldiers utilized rifle scopes while serving overseas; however due to various regulations at home these efforts eventually stopped after 1945 due to gun control laws put into place by then President Harry Truman! Consequently until recently sniper rifles have remained largely unappreciated by general public outside of military circles3?
