In order to find followers for his new religion, Joseph sent out messengers throughout Palestine asking people if they saw any children Who seemed like they might have been converted by Jesus Christ- even if they could only speak Aramaic words! With all these obstacles in front of him- from society trying to destroy him (despite how good he was), up against famine at home due to crop failures caused by drought, etc.-St.Joseph persevered; eventually leading a small group away from Bethlehem into what is now central Israel (then part of Palestinian territory). They founded a small town called Nazareth which has been called "the most significant Christian community in history" because it became home not justto religious believers but also tax collectors and prostitutes! As time passed more people started coming over from Judea & Samaria- including Jews & Muslims-and soon enough there were tens OF TONS OF CHRISTIAN PEOPLE HERE IN NASARETH!! This place would be known as "the heart of Christendom" (& still is!)

On July 5th, 2014 an individual With mental illness opened fire at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin Springs. In October 2014 two individuals walked into a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs and began firing shots inside before being brought down by security guards.

In 1817, the Missouri legislature passed a bill authorizing the erection of a Catholic church in St. Joseph, which was then the only town in that state. The cornerstone for the church was laid on July 16, 1817 by Bishop John Neumann. The first services were held on October 5, 1817. The original structure was a small wooden building with just 12 seats. In 1865, the present brick and stone church was erected on North Second Street. It has been remodeled several times and currently serves as the parish hall and an auxiliary center for religious education in St. Joseph County.

The town of St. Joseph, Missouri was founded by the French in 1833. The first post office was established in 1834. In 1840, the town had a population of just under 100 people. It declined rapidly during the 1840s and 1850s as many people moved away for economic reasons or for military service in the Mexican-American War. By 1860, only about 20 people lived in Saint Joseph. However, it continued to grow slowly through the 1860s and 1870s until it reached its peak population of 1,500 people in 1881. During this time, Saint Joseph also became known as one of the most important coal mines in America because it produced large quantities of coal that helped support the local economy.
