There is no one answer to this question, as the history of gun swivels goes back centuries. Many of these early Germans brought with them their Lutheran faith which blended well with local Methodist and Presbyterian congregations already present in Saint Ann by this time. The Catholic Church in St. Ann, Missouri first organized in 1836. In 1865, the church was relocated to what is now Elmira, New York due to the American Civil War. Pope Pius IX created Blessed Virgin Mary Parish on October 27th1866 located on Blackstone River east of Presentation Avenue in St. Ann which became one of the largest parishes within Rome’s ecclesiastical province (later America) with over 235 families reporting to it during its first decade as a parishioner school operated by Sisters Marie Curie & Alphonse Henri Laboureaux with 100 pupils from 8th through 12th grade from eighteen local homes including those at Elmira (now Stroudsburg). It functioned as a religious school for girls until 1906 when Brothers Xavier de Santis arrived from France and opened their boys' high school adjacent to Our Lady School building onpresentation avenue where grades 7-12 continue today as Holy Cross High School after having been elevated from DeSales Parish School District #2 where they have been since 1923). Saint Anne Parish also reported with Pope Pius IX on October 27th 1870 located near present day Auburn Hills off I-235 southbound just beyond milepost 231A while still part Of Rome’s Ecclesiastical Province America; this new parish comprised all or portions of several existing Roman dioceses including Rockford (east side), Chicago (south side), Peoria (west side), Joliette (north side) and Springfield-(now Overland Park). The land comprising present day Indianapolis was donated by Pierre Marquette who had bought 5200 acres northwest of modern day Hammond four years earlier while serving as Governor Of Indiana Territory! Its boundaries would expand northeastward concurrent With that territory becoming part Of Illinois On January 1st 1796 thereby encompassing all or most Of southwestern Indiana along With much Today’s Dayton And Cincinnati Ohio!
