St. Ann is a small town located in Johnson County, Missouri, United States. The population was 3,369 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Kansas City Metropolitan Statistical Area. The history of St. Ann begins with the founding of the village by Reverend William Lyon Mackenzie in 1855 as a result of the great wave of emigration to Kansas during the turn-of-the-century Boomtown period. At first, most residents were farmers and their families who raised chickens and pigs on their farmssteads or hired vendors to do chores for them while they went about their day jobs; however, within a few years many men had moved into business ventures downtown which led to what is now known as "The Building" - an old building that still stands today and has been used as a commercial office complex since 1955. Today, it contains various businesses including The KFC Buffet restaurant which opened its doors in 1984; also located inside is St. Ann's Masonic Lodge #2 where Odd Fellows meet each week for economic development purposes along with other community organizations such as Artistic Ambassadors Gallery which presents exhibits throughout the year and provides education about local artisans through monthly classes.; In recent years there have been several advancements made in both food production and culinary techniques that have brought new life to St. Ann's cuisine including Quesadillas from Assemblex Pizza & Pasta fame (now open at Tom Sawyer's), Grilled Cheese sandwiches from Subway sandwich shops across town (including one right next door to The KFC Buffet) and even soul food style meals like catfish fries from Busch Gardens' famous Catfish Fry stand right outside our front door! All these dishes are something special that visitors can't help but be drawn to when they walk through our doors., Many people attribute this resurgence in popularity to two things: Firstly, because we're always working hard on bringing our best ingredients wherever we go so everyone can enjoy great tasting food without having to leave home; secondly, because we've learned how important social media marketing can be - not only does it allow usto stay connected with our customers directly but also allows usto share updates about what's going on inside and out at our restaurant with all those wonderful people who visit us everyday!

The story of St. Ann, Missouri began with the donation by a group of people in 1824 to build a church and convent on the site now known as the University of Missouri. The city of Saint Louis was founded in 1770 and soon enlarged by immigrants from Great Britain, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Many Irish Catholics settled in what is now Saint Ann Parish during this time. Catholic priests were needed to minister to these new arrivals so they founded many schools and churches throughout Saint Louis County. In 1827, Pope Gregory XVI designated the parish of Saint Ann as the episcopal see for all German Catholics east of the Mississippi River. In 1841, three Frenchmen—Léon-Jacques Duchesne, Émile Michelet, and Augustin Chabanel—dedicated their chapel at Fourth Street and Gadsden Avenue to Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate who had given them land for religious use in this part of Missouri. This chapel quickly became one of America’s most popular tourist attractions because it featured beautiful stone architecture dating back to the 18th century. When Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral was completed on New York’s Fifth Avenue in 1865, American Catholics decided that their cathedral should be built also in Saint Ann Parish because it offered a more spacious interior than any other parishioners’ church in STL County! The first Bishop elected here was John Francis Reischauer who served from 1886 until his death in 1910. He constructed several impressive churches within our boundaries including Our Lady Of Mount Carmel which still stands today as one of STL County’s most popular tourist destinations; two magnificent cathedrals (Stations Jesuitorum & Our Lady Of Loretto) located just northwest of downtownSaintLouisParrish; Our Lady Of Loretto Chapel on Illinois Boulevard adjacent to St Peters Cathedral bothBuilt before 1889; & finally (and probably its most famous building),the $5 million USD “Masonic Temple” currently standing atop an abandoned lot at Tenth Street SW corner First Ave/US 31st Century Christianity has played an important role not only during its formative years but also over subsequent centuries as this community has experienced various waves of immigration: primarily Germans (1810-1920); Italians (1920-1950); Poles (1940-1970); Belgians (1980-present).
