Raymore is a small, unincorporated community in Raymore Township, Macon County, Missouri, United States. The community was founded in 1858 by white settlers and named for General George Washington "Buddy" Raymore. The population was 1 when the community was founded and 2 at the time of the 2010 census. The first store in Raymore opened on Main Street in 1858. In 1860, a post office called Raymore was established and remained in operation until it were discontinued in 1903. The first settler to live permanently in Raymore Township was John Aiken who arrived there from Illinois in 1854. Aiken built a cabin on what is now Park Road near the present day schoolhouse. He also donated land to form the town square which still stands today.

In 1896, the townsite was annexed into St. Louis County and became part of that city's limits
