In the early 1900s, Overland had an impressive high capacity conversion history. In 1912, Overland became the first town in Missouri to have a municipal electric utility and began providing power to its residents. The following year, Overland achieved independence from the state of Missouri and established its own electric utility. The early years of Municipal Electric Utilities were difficult for companies such as Edison Electric Institute (EEI) because they were not considered public utilities by law. This made it difficult for them to obtain funding and enter into agreements with municipalities. However, due to their success in providing electricity to their customers, EEI was able to secure backing from other organizations and begin developing infrastructure for Municipal Electric Utilities. Municipal Electric Utilities soon became an important factor in the development of today’s metropolitan areas across America. They allowed cities and towns to become self-sufficient with their own power supply rather than depend on expensiveoutsourcing from larger companies like Edison Electric Institute. With this newfound independence came new opportunities for growth and innovation within Municipal Electric Utility companies. During World War II, Municipal Electric Utilities played a critical role in providing essential services during the war effort. For instance, Los Angeles County used MunicipalElectricUtilitiesto provide power to schools and hospitals during World War II. After the war ended, MunicipalElectricUtilities continued serving various needs within cities and towns across America until deregulation occurred in 1970 which eliminated most municipal electric utilities throughout America

High capacity conversions are a hot topic these days as businesses seek to increase their throughput and save time. There are many factors that go into high capacity conversions, including the need for the right technology, resources, and management. Some of the most common conversion technologies used in high capacity conversions include data entry workstations (DEWA), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and big data. Data entry workstations can be an indispensable part of any business. DEWA systems offer great performance, low power consumption, and support for many languages. Their popularity is due to their ability to handle large quantities of data quickly and with little effort. They also come with a variety of features such as color printing and touch-screen capabilities. AI systems can help speed up tasks by providing assistance with specific steps or areas of data entry. ML systems use natural language processing algorithms to identify patterns in text or images so that they can be processed more easily by computers. This type of system is often used in industries such as finance or healthcare where complex calculations are required frequently but difficult to deal with in written form. Big data refers to a large quantity or set of data that is too large for traditional computing methods to process effectively

The town quickly grew to become an important center for lumber production and commerce in the area. In 1939, Overland was renamed after General George Custer, who had died three years earlier in battle near present-day Fort Riley, Kansas. Overland's growth continued through the 1960s and 1970s, when it reached its peak population size.
