It manufactured high-quality scopes for both rifle enthusiasts and farmers alike, as well as providing excellent customer service. However, over time, production volume decreased due to technological advancements instead of declining sales caused by competition from other companies within the market place (i.e., optics manufacturers). This ultimately led to the demise of the Scope Mount Company in 1971 when it merged with another company (the Innovative Optics Corporation) into one large manufacturing organization known as American Optics Corporation (AO). At AO, larger production quotas were put into place which resulted in an overall decrease in quality control standards among all product lines within the organization (due to increased competition). As a result, many products produced by AO failed to meet consumer expectations; some even reached levels of ridicule from existing users online! Thankfully however, things have changed somewhat since then – thanks largely to the efforts of several individuals who have stepped up to carry on this venerable industry icon! These individuals include current CEO & President Wayne Hiatt; Vice President & General Manager Tom Buehler; Assistant Superintendent Randy saidbaugh; Manufacturing Specialist Dave Shearer; Technical Specialist Tim Sweeny; Product Manager / Coordinator Chris Christianman/Chuck Farrell – all of whom work together under one roof as Scope Mount historians! Moberly is a small town in Jackson County, Missouri, United States. The population was 9,872 at the 2010 census. It is part of the St. Louis metropolitan area. The town is named after General James Moberly and his forces that fought during the American Civil War. The post office was established in 1820, and was called "Moberly". The current name comes from the nearby creek which takes its name from General Moberly's troops. Moberly has a humid continental climate (Köppen: Dfb), abbreviated by Köppen to "D" for "Desert", "B" for "Boggy", and "A" for all other areas of Missouri. There are no significant mountains or valleys within Moberly limits, so most precipitation comes from rain or snowfall on large surfaces such as streets and highways. July averages see over 100 mm (39 in) of rainfall while January sees only about 50 mm (2 in). Annual temperatures average around 32 degrees Celsius (89 degrees Fahrenheit). According to the 2010 census, there are 9,872 people in Moberly with a median age of 37 years old; 6% under the age of 18 years; 12% between the ages of 18 and 24 years; 36% who are 25-54 years old; 11% 55-64 years old; 5% 65+ years old; 1% who were 65+ when they last lived in Moberly. 3% identify themselves as black or African American alone, 4% as Hispanic or Latino of any race, 7% as white alone, and 2% as Asian alone. 21 % reporting themselves born outside of America - this includes citizens living both domestically and abroad on one visit or more since 2000 according to US Census data reported by ancestry groups identified through multiple sources including self-reported racial/ethnic identification questionnaire responses collected online by AncestryDNA

Moberly, Missouri is a city located in the U.S. state of Missouri. It was founded in 1831 by Methodist ministers and settlers from North Carolina as a town named for Moberly County, Tennessee. The population was 5,018 at the 2010 census. The first white settler in Moberly was John Patton who arrived on horseback in 1829. Patton's brother-in-law James Waddell settled there the same year and built his home on what is now called Main Street. In 1830, German immigrants George Hohlwein and Friedrich Lapp arrived and started a grocery store on East Third Street. By 1834, lumber had become the primary commercial product of Moberly with Isaac Nothaft moving to town from Joplin to start an sawmill in 1835 and Charles Fenton opening a blacksmith shop two years later. In 1840, Presbyterian minister Cornelius Harmon set up a school in what is now Shields Park after being driven out of Joplin by mobs because of his evangelical preaching activities. In 1861, when Confederate forces occupied Moberly during the American Civil War, General Sterling Price ordered all stores within 21 miles (33 km) be closed so that goods could be unloaded at points near St Louisport for shipment southward to help support the war effort. This caused great upset among residents who were unable to get their goods delivered due to high prices paid for transportation by Union forces instead of Confederate blockade runners or wagon trains carrying supplies directly into Confederate hands. Moberly slowly recovered following the war but experienced significant decline during Reconstruction following its annexation by Missouri in 1865 as part of that state's Unions efforts to rebuild following the war although it remained an important center for agriculture until 1890 when it lost its status as a city due to prohibition laws enacted by then-Governor Andrew Johnson against alcohol sales). However, it regained some power Following World War II as Walmart developed nearby and began expanding into smaller communities throughout central Missouri which eventually led to MoberLY becoming one of Walmart's largest hubs worldwide with over 2 million employees globally today including 1 million employees inside Walmart itself - making it one of America’s largest cities without any form of public transportation other than buses which serve mainly locals commuting into/out of town (the only major exception being downtown which has light rail service).
