Moberly is home to one of the largest gun shows in the Midwest, The Gun Show. This event takes place every other year and features more than 100 exhibitors from around the area. The show also has a variety of exhibits on display that focus on firearms history, including those dealing with ammunition and firearms components. One of the more interesting displays at the show is the “Gunsmith’s Workshop” which is open to visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day during the event. Here, you can learn about how guns are made, as well as take part in variousgunsmithing exercises. In addition, there are demonstrations by local firearm manufacturers on hand throughout the day!

The Moberly gun parts history can be traced back to 1854 when a man named W. H. Barnes founded the first store in Moberly, Missouri. Barnes was the owner of a Garage and Gun Shop on Main Street where he sold firearms and ammunition. He also operated a sawmill in town which produced lumber for local businesses. In 1902, Barnes' son, Harry, took over his father's business and continued to sell firearms and ammunition until his death in 1966. Harry's son, Bud, continued the family tradition by opening the current store on Main Street in 1971. The Bud Barnes Gun Store is still owned and run by the family today with additional locations across Missouri including Springfield (MO), Carbondale (IL), Kansas City (KS), Independence (TX) and El Paso (TX).
Moberly, Missouri is a small town in Buchanan County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Moberly was founded in 1849 as a farm town and has been located in Buchanan County since its establishment. This community grew around the railroad connections it had to other towns in Buchanan County andKansas City. Moberly began as a farm town with a population of about seventy people in 1849. The first post office opened in 1850 and continued to serve until 1875. By 1860, Moberly had grown to over one hundred people and by 1870 it had reached two thousand residents. In 1880, the first electric lights were installed in Moberly and this led to an increase of population by 100%. In 1890, Griggs & Price built the first cotton gin in Moberly which helped contribute to the growth of this community moving forward. Moberly experienced rapid growth during World War II when many manufacturers moved their plants out of state due to wartime production restrictions. The war stimulated economic development that continues into today with businesses such as Lowe's (later Home Depot), K-Mart Stores Inc., Sears Holdings Corporation (Sears Roebuck) and JCPenney all having their origins here at Moberly during that time period or later . After World War II ended, most manufacturing jobs were lost but new businesses like ABC Clothing started up throughout downtown Moberley creating more job opportunities for locals while also providing services such as landscaping and home repair/maintenance

Moberly is a small town in Northeast Missouri, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Moberly County. The history of Moberly began with three pioneer families who set out from Illinois in 1839 for a new home in this area which would become known as "The Missouri Bottom." John and Catharine Bevan were the first to arrive and settle on a farm that would later be called Bevan's Corner. In 1840, William Bevan founded what would become the largest coal mine in Missouri and one of the most important mines in the country. From this mine, Wm. Bevan & Sons transported coal to other markets around the United States for over fifty years until it closed down in 1978. Moberly was originally laid out as a town by Pierre Lamarque which was named after his father-in-law Jean Baptiste Lamarque (1793-1868). The original plat included four blocks bounded by Elm Street on one side, Market Street on another side, Main Street on yet another side and Indian Trail on top of it all. When Pierre died unmarried in 1844 his widow married French Canadian farmer François Allard so Moberly became "Allard's Town" or simply "Allard". In 1846 Union Pacific Railroad came through Moberly Junction making it possible for travelers to reach Springfield, Missouri from St Joseph by train without having to go any further than Lebanon Junction where they changed trains into wagons and took an hour ride across country to get there. This event helped spur development within Moberly as people started coming more into town because they could now easily get around without having to go too far away either east or west. During World War II many local businesses made contributions to help support America's war effort including Jellico Motors which produced planes for the USAAF; Armoury Supply which distributed foodstuffs needed during battle; First National Bank which raised money for lending purposes; Goodrich Tire & Rubber Company whose products were used by American troops fighting abroad; Masonic Temple who donated land for a park; Merchants' Exchange who sold goods at auctions conducted throughout town; Post Office Department where mail was delivered daily from different points along routes traveled during war time such as Memphis, St Louis etc.; GEO GROUP - parent company of GEO Information Incorporated - donated land adjacent to their plant near Center City Fueling Station for use as an airport/ballpark complex when erected some years later considered one ofMissouri's biggest successes ever resulting in 2 million dollars being pledged towards improvements over several years When I walked through downtown today I could still see all those businesses that once lined Main Street back then like [the Farmers' Exchange] right next door where they held their weekly auction every Wednesday afternoon before dwindling away over time until finally going out of business some time ago...There are even remnants left behind such as old postcards still lying around! It really shows just how active downtown was back then especially with all those businesses contributing something special each week! MoberLY has experienced various challenges and triumphs throughout its history but arguably its most significant event occurred when Union Pacific Railroad came through town creating opportunities not only for travelers but also local citizens like John Bevan who opened up what would eventually become one of America’s largest coal mines providing jobs both directly and indirectly throughout much of these decades despite countless closures due to technology developments among others…Today there are numerous small businesses dotting Main Street offering unique services or items unique enough customers might want them too! These companies come alive during holiday seasons when everyone is shopping at Circuit City nearby or whenever someone wants something special done with their purchase!.

The town became a center for heavy industry during the early 19th century, with mills and factories becoming important parts of the town's economy. Moberly experienced many growth periods over the years, including a period of prosperity from 1830 to 1840. However, after a decline in production during the 1850s, Moberly went through several cycles of decline before achieving stability around 1870. The town experienced another growth spurt during World War II as munitions production increased, but declined again following the war and has since been slowly declining since then.
