The club enjoyed success until World War II when they lost many members due to service in the war. In 1945, Johnnie Ray founded JRC Guns which became one of the largest firearms dealers in Missouri before closing its doors in 1984. In 2007, Eastern Arms reopened its doors after being closed for over 25 years with new ownership and renovation starting up immediately!
Kirksville is a town in Hope County, Missouri, United States. The population was 2,898 at the 2010 census. Kirksville is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The first post office in Kirksville was established on October 25, 1855, and received its name from the nearby community of Kirkwood. It was renamed Kirksville in 1871 when it became part of the newly formed Hope County. The first store in Kirksville opened in 1872 and became one of the leading stores in county. A courthouse and jail were built here between 1889 and 1893. In 1903, a railroad station was built here to serve the growing town. The town reached its peak development around 1912 when it had a population of 10,000 people. However, by 1920s there were only 1,500 residents left in Kirksville due to other economic factors such as over-population on farms and declines in business activity within the local industry. By 1990s only 350 people remained living in Kirksville with most residents moving away during this time period because of various technological advances which made life difficult for rural towns like Kirksville
