His siblings settled in what would become City of Jennings after their father's death when they were just six months old; he had married Ann (Nelson) Campbell on July 2, 1814 and they had two children: Mary (born December 12th, 1815) and James (born October 30th, 1817). One of their earliest jobs was to help raise money for the construction of a new courthouse which was completed on November 3rd, 1857; this building still stands today as part of town hall. John Jennings' grandson George Paulding served as Mayor from 1951-1954; during that time period enrollment at City High School tripled due to World War II shortages brought about by the depression that swept America during that time period In 1954 following passage of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act known as No Child Left Behind which mandated increased standardized testing throughout all school districts across America; City High School closed its doors permanently due to lack of funding however some students continued attending classes off campus until 1984 when Jenkinsburg Community College opened its doors onto what is now Main Street.; later that same year Arthur Blank purchased downtown land adjacent to City Hall and began developing it into one of St Louis’s most modern neighborhoods., subsequently becoming one ofAmerica’s largest downtown development projects ever accomplished with over 1 million square feet total dedicated to commerce,, services,, art galleries,, theaters,, restaurants,,,, etc., making him oneofStLouis’most successful businessmen ever
