However, in Jennings, Missouri, there are actually two separate toolboxes: one from the 1800s and the other from the 1920s. The first toolbox was made of wood and had six tools. The second toolbox was made of metal and had twelve tools. In both cases, there were also four plates on the front and back of the box that held screws, nails, hammers, and chisels. The first toolbox was used by farmers for many years because it allowed them to do more than just farmer’s work. It also allowed them to get a good amount of work done quickly without having to go out into the field or wait for someone else to come help them with something. As time went on, however, people began using these boxes less and less because they became harder and harder to carry around. By the 1920s, only two survivingboxes remain in Jennings today (the ones from earlier times). The reason why these boxes exist is because during this time period there was a big trend towards using machines instead of hands-on labor when doing things like farming or construction. This change happened due to technological advances which led to inventions such as tractors and generators. With these new technologies came new ways of doing things which required people no longer have their hands on everything lest they become tired or injured schemailly throughout the day. Jennings who fought with distinction against Confederate forces during the American Civil War. The first settler arrived in 1836 and soon developed an agricultural ranching economy based on hay production, cattle raising, beeswax production, cotton ginning, flour milling and other businesses that continued until around 1920 when most residents left for better opportunities elsewhere in central Missouri or east Kansas City metropolitan area due to changing social mores brought about by World War I changes including Progressive Era policies that encouraged women's voting rights; prohibition; increased political power for African Americans; advances made through radio technology; automobile ownership among white men across professional classes throughout America; Prohibition being repealed nationally effective January 3rd 1933.; The post office served Jennings from 1837 until it closed at its current location adjacent to neighboring Rolla on October 5th 1915 with an initial mailing capacity of just four letters per day due to shoddy construction that created difficulties receiving mail through most months even during prosperous times (). A new mail facility opened adjacent to Rolla High School on December 8th 1916 which tripled their mailing capacity ().
