In 1913, Mr. Hodge donated his old sawmill building on Locust Avenue to become home to what is now called "Hodge's Shooting Grounds". This site would become one of the most popular shooting ranges in Missouri due its convenient location near major shopping districts such as downtown and Lambertville Mall and its beginner friendly atmosphere which made it perfect for new shooters as well as experienced gun enthusiasts alike. Starting back in 1951 when tragedies struck both homeschooled kids living within walking distance of I-70 and innocent bystanders using their backyard privates for target practice, Target Shooting USA LLC was born!
