In 1922, Hines merged with Blackhawk Holster Company (later renamed BlackhawkHolster) Incorporated into one organization; this new company continued production until 1991 when it folded due to lack of business opportunity.

However, economic recession brought about a decline in business activity over the past few years; however, recent development has injected some life back into these businesses Ferguson is located at . According to the 2010 census., its population was 11 thousand people making it one of St Louis County's most populous towns It should be noted that this number does not include refugees or other undocumented immigrants who may have moved into Ferguson during this time The town was founded on April 6th 1837 by John Aiken who named his community for Brigadier General James Wilkinson who had died two months earlier while fighting against Mexican forces near Pueblo de Arica In 1840 Abraham Lincoln visited Ferguson and recommended that General Sam Houston build an arsenal here because "a large force could be collected without being stinted"
