The incorporations were granted on February 9th 1870 with a population of 20 residents! On March 6th 1870 "The Gazetteer" reported that "the citizens have elected Messrs Fenton & Weems as their City Councilmen." In 1871 Census data shows that there were 30 people living in Creve COeur: 15 men (20% of total), 11 women (75%), 4 children (<12 years old), 1 person unknown (5%). From then until 1920 when World War I started creating wartime shortages, there were no changes to this figure other than Droves changed locations due to war mobilization! This means that outlanders such as Chinese laborers who had crossed into Missouri during times like these decreased over time!
