The Crestwood Rifle and Shotgun Club was founded in 1892. The club has been a part of the Missouri State Rifle Association (MSRA) since 1935. In that time, the club has donated over 1,500 rifles and shotguns to various organizations in the Missouri area. Today, the Crestwood Rifle and Shotgun Club continues to contribute firearms to support local firearm enthusiasts statewide. Crestwood is located just outside of St. Louis, Missouri on the banks of the Mississippi River. The town was originally named "Crestwood" after General John J. Pershing's brigade passed through on their way from Cairo, Illinois to West Point during the American Civil War. The town quickly became known for its rifle and shotgun clubs which were founded in 1892 by two gentlemen from Crestwood- one being Judge George Haines and another being Captain Wm Pemberton - both of whom had served in Company K 2nd US Infantry Regiment under General William Taney at Vicksburg/ Jackson during the war! Over 1,500 rifles and shotguns have been donated by Crestwood Rifle & Shotgun Club members over the years including many that have gone on to be used in various NRA sanctioned events throughout Missouri! This past year alone we've donated pistols as well as rifles to an event at Springfield Armory called "Rapid Fire" where participants fired hundreds of rounds per minute using centerfire ammunition at a simulated gunfight! Needless to say it was a real thrill for all involved!

Crestwood is a small town in Greene County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. Crestwood is part of the St. Louis–Saint Peters metropolitan area. It is home to the Crestwood Mall and the Crestwood Golf Course. The first settlers in what is now Crestwood were farmers who came from Virginia in 1819. They named their settlement after a wood on the Potomac River where they had seen a crest of trees while hunting game. The name stuck and soon enough, other farmers began to arrive and erect homes around this original nucleus of people. By 1835, there were five families living in Crestwood when it was established as a village by order of General William Hull during the American Civil War. During its earliest years, Crestwood functioned as an agricultural community with cornmeal breads being baked from local flour brought overland by wagonloads from Springfield or Cairo. Eventually, however, railroads arrived and changed all that for residents of rural Greene County – including many who had never traveled more than three miles outside their own homes before! With new transportation options at hand (including automobiles), farming became less important and by 1925 most residents had left for better jobs elsewhere within Greene County or out-of-state altogether; only two families remain today among those original pioneers who founded Crestwood Village fifty years ago! Even though much has changed since then – both materially (the number of residents dwindled again until reaching 1,814 as of 2010) and culturally (a majority of current residents are descendants of those originally founding households), there are certain things that remain unchanged about this beautiful corner located just off Interstate 44 minutes west of downtown St Louis: approximately one-third (or even more) of all children graduating high school here attend college or another form thereof; nearly half (46%) Of adults aged 25+ have served in some capacity related to government or military service either directly or indirectly through roles such as teaching/learning/contracting/managing businesses/property; almost two-thirds (63%) resides below poverty line; nearly two-thirds (~67%) report feeling welcome and comfortable within their community despite recent challenges faced by many other rural communities throughout America experiencing similar strife). There are several reasons why so many aspects about life here stand out: first and foremost because our citizens have always shown unwavering support for one another even when times have been tough – whether it’s rallying together to help friends through difficult times during the Great Recession or giving back generously during holiday season; secondly because we continue to cherish our traditional values which include hard work ethics combined with deep religious faith which keeps us connected to God even when facing trials outside our everyday lives; lastly because we take pride in having an amazing sense of humor which often gets our neighbors up on Pseudonym Hill every Saturday night!

Crestwood is a small town in the Ozarks of Missouri, United States. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. Crestwood is located along Route 66 south of Springfield. The area that now makes up Crestwood was first settled by Shawnee and Osage people around 1795. The town was founded on October 2, 1854 by subscription from members of the General Assembly of Missouri. It was named for General John Fenton who fought in the Mexican-American War and in the American Civil War as a colonel with Ulysses S. Grant's army. The first store in Crestwood opened on Main Street in 1855, and it remained an important commercial center until 1915 when a new post office called Elmira became more prominent. In 1860, two brothers named Edwin and Elijah Hicks organized the first industry in Crestwood – lumberjacking – which continued to be an important sector of the economy until after World War II. In 1907, Lester Amsden built what is now also known as Amsden's Store which remains one of Crestwood's most prominent businesses today. In 1954, Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) moved to Carbondale from Stilwell and began offering classes at Carbondale High School which led to many students choosing to attend SIUC over other schools in their region because Carbondale had such excellent facilities including its own gymnasium and football stadium. This led to increased enrollment at Crestwood Elementary School which made it possible for children from all walks of life to participate together in extracurricular activities such as music or dance clubs or drama groups; these opportunities allowed for young people from all parts of Missouri to meet each other and discover common interests outside their home towns or rural areas where they may have none
Crestwood was a small community in the Ozarks region of Missouri. The population was about 1,500 at the time of the 1900 census. It had no school and relied on hunting and fishing for its economy. By 1970, Crestwood had shrunk to just 100 residents.
