Many black farmers started farming in this area during the early 1800s due to lack of other opportunities in rural areas of Mississippi. By 1865, most blacks had been emancipated or moved away from central Mississippi due to pro-Union sentiment and white violence against them during the Civil War. In 1865, a group of white men led by General Braxton Bragg decided to settle down in central Mississippi where they could control more land and conduct business without fear of being harassed or attacked by freedmen or Union troops. They named their new community after themselves – Brandon – an indication that they still considered themselves superior to everyone else living within miles radius of their home village). 2 years later on January 1st 1870 Brigadier General James Hogg arrived at VillageSquare with 1 company cavalry on horseback looking for refugees from Corinth (Mississippi) who had taken up arms againstGeneral Bragg's forces 2 weeks earlier while residents were taking dinner inside their homesvariety stores were closed including one operated by John Sibley & Co which closed its doors for 3 days because it couldn't find anyone to buy flour & sugar

It has been reported that this new system is much more accurate than earlier versions because it does not require high levels of accuracy; however, it is still only available in Right-of-Way mode.
