The manufacturing base of early Woodbury residents included flour milling (the first commercial production), lumberjacking, baking powder manufacture (the first commercially produced product), printing press production (leading to woodprinting technology), soap making, farm machinery manufacturing (including early models of combines and tractors), machine tool production (including early models of mills/drills/machines/etc.), plasticsmanufacturing (later diversified into polycarbonate products) and some light truck manufacturing before becoming largely agricultural with development centered around corn ethanol production beginning around 2003-2004 primarily near the village of Holmdel along I-35W about 10 miles west of Woodbury proper but extending elsewhere also including Atchison County westward into adjacent counties northward into Dakota County including both rural areas eastward beyond what would become Woodbury proper including Anoka County until that county line changed following statehood when Anoka became Ramsey County; finally some retail sales occurred although much smaller scale than what characterized decades past although there remains an active grocery store operated by two members of the original family since 1983 called Pemaquid Farms which opened originally just south of downtown Wilton after long discussions between them over several months prior but expanding rapidly thereafter across various locations within town limits; retail sales now amounting only to two or three items per week distributed through their own privately managed distribution network rather than larger physical stores inside single blocks throughout downtown where pre-existing businesses have KGB'd away or rebranded within weeks or months following opening providing essentially no economic value & no real social impact other than inconvenience caused by large boxloads delivered directly to their doors each week morning without any warning whatsoever either prior or subsequent to delivery thereby disrupting daily routines & disrupting main streets throughout entire city center resulting ultimately in relatively few customers during peak hours leading instead generally to very high prices reflecting significant investments made by these same individuals outside of business owners themselves rather than anything approaching real productivity gain especially given that they do not pay property taxes which support all sorts Of public services within our city center contributing importantly both financially & physically to overall well-being while simultaneously reducing crime rates

Woodbury, Minnesota is a small town in the extreme western corner of the U.S., on the border of Canada and Manitoba. It is located about 120 miles (250 km) east of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Canada's eastern border and just over 100 miles (160 km) north of Fargo, North Dakota. The population was 3,811 at the 2010 census. The first settler in Woodbury was James Brown who arrived in 1854 from Illinois. He built a log cabin near what is now downtown Woodbury and named it Brown's Cabin after himself and his son James Brown Jr. In 1858, David Simonson settled in what is now downtown Woodbury and named it after his father-in-law Jonas Slemrodt. In 1865, John Ladd moved to what is now Woodbury from Red Wing Township in Minnesota Territory and founded a new settlement called Ladd's Landing which became known as Ladd City because he owned most of the land within its boundaries. In 1871, Charles Wiklund founded Wiklund Bros lumberyard on First Street in what is now downtown Woodbury where he built up one of America's largest lumberyards responsible for much of the early growth of that city. From there he started shipping logs to other towns throughout Minnesota and into Wisconsin where they were turned into furniture, homesickness cures, railroad ties etc..Wiklund also developed an industry that grew out of building churches which required large quantities of wood so he ships his lumber by barge downriver to nearby Menominee Falls before being unloaded onto barges heading back upriver again to be turned into buildings or railway ties etc..
