This type of gun was used by farmers and hunters to take game up close. The popularity of these kinds of firearms led to the development of airguns as well. In 1892, a man named John Pritchard built an airgun factory in SaintPeter and began marketing his products under the name "Pritchard's Air Guns." Over the years, Pritchard's Air Guns has become one of the most popular and respected brands in the hobby world. Today, Pritchard's Air Guns continues to produce high-quality airguns for sale throughout North America. One of the most famous members of Pritchard's Air Guns team is Harry Hargrave who helped develop some ofairgun's most iconic features such as its self-loading feature and adjustable trigger guard. After retiring from his position at Pritchard's Air Guns in 1984, Harry passed away but his legacy lives on through his son - Douglas Hargrave - who currently manages all aspectsof business for Pritchard's Air Guns USA Incorporated (PAGUSA). In 2018, PAGUSAwas acquired by bolt action rifle manufacturer DPMS Corporation

In St. Peter, Minnesota, there have been many airguns over the years. The first airgun was a muzzleloader, which was used in the early 1800s. In 1892, an Air Service Rifle company was organized in the town and began operating guns. By 1902, a rifle range had been built and it became common to shoot rifles in town square. A target range opened in 1909 and continued to be used until 1929 when it closed because of fear of unexploded shells being left around town. In 1911, a shotgun shooting club was formed and soon afterwards a handgun range also opened with handguns as the only type of firearm allowed. A rifle range reopened in 1940 after World War II ended and continues to be used today.
The Parish of St. Peter is a small, rural parish located in the Wexford County seat of Hibbing, Minnesota. The population was 1,711 as of the 2010 census. The ecclesiastical parish covers an area of 10 square miles and has a population of just over 100 people. St. Peter's Parish began as one man's gift to his church followers on Valentine's Day in 1884. At first there were only twelveSunday school students and four pastors who served the parish with their own time and resources. Today there are more than 350 baptized Catholics who attend services every Sunday morning at 9:00am for two hours at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church across from the Hibbing High School campus. The worship service begins with a service on Monday night that includes readings from the Bible, confession and prayer followed by bread and wine distribution to all in attendance before singing religious music from around the world (including traditional Irish, German, Italian and Spanish chants). Following liturgy we break fast with Benediction then spend time together in discussion or reflection on what God has done for us today before following Mass led by Revd John Hickey who is also our pastor emeritus since October 2006 serving out what will be his final term until he retires effective January 1st 2020. After mass we go into procession to Our Lady of Mount Carmel where communion is offered then everyone goes home for dinner which usually includes potatoes, macaroni cheese or ham that’s cooked fresh by our nuns during their morning cook-out program! There are no dues paid members but donations are always welcome especially if you have something special that you would like us to distribute such as clothes, children’s toys or cans filled with money donated by truckers stopping through town on their way to Hibbing or any other place they pass through!

In 1881, a group of Norwegian immigrants founded the town of St. Peter in eastcentral Minnesota. The town was named after Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ who landed on Earth in the first century AD. The settlers began to arrive in large numbers during the 1850s, and soon enough, they had built a small community with their own church and school. By 1870, the town had also developed a respectable business district. The early 20th century was not kind to St. Peter. For one thing, it suffered from financial struggles due to decreases in trade and industry throughout eastern Minnesota that coincided with the introduction of World War I and subsequent economic decline in America. Additionally, many residents left for greener pastures during this time; by 1920, only 10 percent of St. Peter’s population remained local residents. However, despite these challenges, the town did continue to thrive as a cultural center for eastern Minnesota until its demise in the late 1960s following advances in transportation and communication that made it more difficult for farmers to commute to work or access markets outside of Minneapolis-St Paul County. Today, remnants of St.Peter still exist as part of rural farmland just east of Minneapolis-StPaul county line; however, most people now know about and visit the town’s namesake daycare which is open daily from 9am-1pm (closed Mondays). Located at 514 S 4th Street in downtown St. Peter proper (just across from where USPost Office once stood), this venerable institution has been hosting children since 1907 thanks to donations by Mrs John Pohlman (1847-1929) who served as both proprietor/director and trustee/manager until her death in 1949 prior to which day care operations were taken over by her son Harold Pohlman Sr., who continued running it until his death in 1984 upon which point it passed through various family members before being purchased by Lillian Jensdotter Henriksen (1907-2006) who run it together with her husband Nils Henriksen (1913-1984) until their deaths in 2006 and 2007 respectively.; In addition thereto there are numerous other units within classic prewar childcare structures all aroundtown including Pre School & Kindergarten through Elementary Schools thru middle school grades along with Afterschool programs throughoutthe summer months
In 1881, the first white settler in the area, George A. Smith, arrived on a farm near what is now St. Peter. The town was named after him and his wife, Anna Marie (1825-1911). The first post office was established in 1883. By 1900, there were about seventy people in the town. In 1907, an oil well was drilled in what is now St. Peter and production began soon afterwards; the town prospered from this source of income. In 1925, when Minnesota became a state, St. Peter became its capital; it has since been renamed Minneapolis/St Paul. In 1928, the city hall was built and remains today one of the most popular destinations in Minneapolis/St Paul for visitors and locals alike because of its historical significance and contemporary architecture.
